Re: Russian Invasion Ukraine. Day: 387/388/389/390 (March 18, 19, 20, 21)
The overall idea is to injure them, so you don't have to blow them to bits as the "Cause & Effect" principle comes into play here ie using just enough explosive material to send the ball bearing laden munition to send hundreds of the BB's scattering 10-15 or more about the place (that's why we see them getting injured when they arnt even near the point of the explosion) & hopefully injure an artery or more as opposed to a fully loaded munition with just explosive material as you only get a percussion blast that has no shrapnel components to it. You're trying to "Cause" a field or wall of shrapnel & the "Effect" is to mame, or kill the enemy preferably but to injure one is to put him in jeopardy of bleeding out & you might also get more kills or injuries of personal who come to his aid as we have seen here previously on DR. In the end they have dif grenades for dif missions & use them accordingly. |

I have to also remind everyone that the amount of small-scale drone warfare we're seeing with this war is unprecedented. There have been drones used in other conflicts, of course, but nothing compared to the sheer amount and scale that they are being used in Ukraine. Small scale personal, non-militarily produced drones carrying munitions has been an innovative and progressive evolution in warfare in a very short amount of time with this conflict. It is also the most "real-time" war I've ever seen in my entire life. The Persian Gulf war broke through to us on TV, Afghanistan and Iraq broke through to us on the internet... and this war is being reported non-stop, around the world, on multiple social media sites in addition to what we get through the news and television media. Some of the best accounts are coming from the ground, the fighters, themselves. Both sides. This war being the biggest armed conflict since WWII, this is going to be an huge part of history in many ways.

Re: Russian Invasion Ukraine. Day: 387/388/389/390 (March 18, 19, 20, 21)
Ukrainian FPV footage, a wholesome conversation with a Russian on the other side of the building. I found a translation: UA1: Speak up, I can't hear you RU: We can't hear you either What's your nationality? Russian And I'm not Russian enough for you or what? (Apparently the guy is an ethnic Russian from Odessa) So the Ukrainian can't be Russian? Didn't our Russian grandfathers fight together? Come out /unintelligible/ Why did you come to kill my children? /no answer/ If you don't want to kill them, then surrender. And if you don't, just go back to where you've come from just now... Come out! I'm telling you, guys, get out of here and live a long life Guys! What? Because you started to talk, I've called off a strike on you. You gonna talk or you gonna fool around? OK, let's talk So f*cking talk! Go home, bro! I've told you that no one will touch you if you come out without your weapons Same here. Throw out your weapon and surrender. Or just leave. You gonna surrender? OK, then. If you don't want to come out, suit yourself I'm home, I have no intention to surrender. I'm here to stay. You wanna die for nothing, be my guest. Your choice. I have someone to die for, I've got six kids /unintelligible/ Come over here! F*ck you! You come here to us! I've come to you and you are not meeting me properly, f*cker! Well, if you wanna surrender, then do it! OK, don't surrender. Neither will I. /unintelligible/ UA2 to UA1: WTF are they doing over there? I can hear something crumbling. UA1: They are digging through the wall, no? RU: I'm telling you again: leave your weapon, raise your hands up, and come over here. I haven't come to your home to kill. You've come to my house, I will not surrender in my own house. If you keep on talking, you're gonna regret it! Wish you can say something intelligent We promised that no one will shoot you, or hit you So did we! UA2: Jokes aside, it's 3:45. It's gonna start to be getting dark soon. UA1: They may be getting low on ammo, no? UA2: Let's make them shoot UA1: Let's do it, then. Start. You wanna throw a grenade or have a smoke? UA2: Let me think here RU: Odessa, I've called off a strike on you. You gonna talk or continue this shi*t? Are you tripping or what? Hello, Odessa, I can't hear you! You gonna hear me now! /UA2 shoots/ Did you hear that? /to UA2/ Kaban, step back /UA1 shoots/ Odessa in da house! Odessa? What happened? Imagine this: it's gonna get dark soon and thirty more of us will come... |
