Re: Russian Invasion Ukraine. Day: 382/383/384/385/386 (March 13, 14, 15, 16, 17)
Found the full video which is slightly higher quality. I posted a clip of this earlier today. Looks like those Ukrainians did indeed shoot that guy on the ground (very end of video) They told him to put his hands up, one said grenade, what's there, he didn't put his hands up so they shot him. |

Re: Russian Invasion Ukraine. Day: 382/383/384/385/386 (March 13, 14, 15, 16, 17)
Wow, what a rare situation. This one got me a little. Here is the backstory to this video from the sources instagram: "This is the surprise conclusion to my last few posts. Unexpected to say the least. We hit a Russian position a few days ago and after a quick battle and breach we started clearing the bunker and basement. "Ya Ukrayinets!" (I'm Ukrainian) a voice said from the stairwell, I stopped the lads from tossing a grenade in and pushed some Ukrainian's forward to interact with the voice. Skeptical, we felt a trap brewing, we pushed forward and I started to go through the search process. I got on him and searched his body and tossed him to his front. Then his eyes met mine "New Zealand! New Zealand!" I looked down. I recognised him, it was my friend who I thought was killed by the Russians when they invaded his house. Heavily starved for two months and forced to drink anti freeze for entertainment, he barely looked like the man I knew a couple of months ago. But it was the best thing to happen to me in this God foresaken war. To be able to save your friends is something that almost never happens but I'm thankful and feel blessed that it was us that could pull him from that Hell hole."

video from the previous tread. did anyone notice that the other has a wooden stick instead of a machine gun and pretends to be armed.?It seems that it is true that the Kremlin no longer wants to arm the Wagners. How could he lose his weapon? I don't know what to think about it. |

I think it's just a "walking stick" if you will. I don't think it has anything to do with the ammunition problem with Wagner in Bakhmut. Probably more about being injured and needing the stick to walk... maybe he ran out of ammunition for his gun at some point so he left it behind. His comrade has a weapon so perhaps he couldn't carry one due to his injury. Hard to say.

This is actually a common practice in the army...when training, but not in actual combat. Considering that they didn't expect to be ambushed, then it may have been a "teaching" experience. When i was in the army, we had simple rules like: "never leave your weapon unguarded" and "always keep your weapon with you" If someone lost their weapon, of didn't keep their eye on it, then the squad leaders took their weapons, and gave them a log or a stick to use as a weapon. I wouldnt expect something like this to happen in a war zone...but, who knows, maybe the guy was an alcoholic and his weapon was taken away for a good reason. |

I think it's a walking stick 'coz he seems to hobble on a gammy leg and appears to lean on the stick a few times. Or maybe just an orc retard who plays soldiers with his gun/stick peow peow |
