Falling into a river in winter with heavy equipment can be deadly on its own...no bombs needed.

Something like this happened during my military service, when a guy fell into a river when he tried to cross it using a log. Full armor, backpack and boots kept him firmly stuck at the bottom. Luckily others quickly pulled him out.

You can clearly see a grenade drop from left frame and blow up right in front of one of the guys.

They got shrapneled.
