The armed forces of Ukraine attacked the base of the 19th motorized rifle brigade of the 58th army of Russia in the city of Melitopol, Zaporozhye region, with the HIMARS rocket launcher system.

Ukrainian telegram channels reported on this.

About 200 invaders were killed as a result of the strike, and almost as many were injured. Some of the wounded were taken to Crimean hospitals.

According to the information, there were no ordinary soldiers in the base, where there were comfortable living conditions, but mostly officers and "kadyrovchus".

Murad Saidov, who is considered to be Ramzan Kadyrov's close friend, is said to be among the destroyed "Kadyrovists".

If that’s true then it would be probably the most devastating hit since the beginning of the war. You can obviously produce equipment in a factory and it would take a few weeks if not months. But it takes 25-45 years to make a valuable soldier. Eradicating 200 of them at once? Wow.

indeed WM, I found your post after posting, only after the 2nd search,
and I was not sure what to do, cos I found some more info, but the 'original' source link was death, so

it happened 10/12, but tactile info was only next day, so a split decision I favored

Sorry, I think my post was confusing and it came off a little bitchy... but I fixed it. I meant to say that yours had better info... but mine had additional info from when it was first happened, including media...

Ok, seems there were two different incidences with major explosions involving barracks of Russian troops... around the same time... but one in Crimea and one in Melitopol. The one I previously posted "aftermath" video as well as the one posted here by b0g is from Melitopol where there were a couple hundred deaths and at least a couple hundred injuries (I will update those numbers as soon as I find something concrete). Not the one in Crimea.

NOTE: unsure if means they've "liberated" Bakhmut completely... will update this post if it's confirmed.

EDIT: I am also seeing pro-UA sources say that Bakhmut is on the verge of falling to the Russians... and that there are heavy streetfights happening. ... so I have no idea what's going on at the moment.
