It is not a POW, he had the paint on him like the gypsy women tied to the lamp posts. They are just people who they say are working with the Russians because they wanted to evacuate.

Also the increase in brutality is a good thing. It means Azov is getting destroyed and becoming more desperate as less and less units are reporting back

Not necessarily. Ask yourself does a defending force get more bold and ethically dubious with success, or less? They're encouraged methinks.
