Agreed. I hate when both sides doing that. During the evac of wounded too. But I guess you let him live today, he might kill you tomorrow. Reality of war

this pilot knew that a rocket impact, or a engine blow up, was imminent. Just a bit of taking more altitude to get a reasonable chute time to touch down. This guy is a veteran, or even more, a surviver at core. I know a pilot who got an F16 total system failure above the North Sea, no directions anymore, and decided not to bail out. so he asked for guiding jets. He landed his plane, cos he decided not to bail out as he had still some options left.  |
