That 4365 number has to be the range in meters considering it took more than 4 seconds to reach the target and Russian HEAT rounds move around 1,000m per second. If the range was ~400m that round would have been there in no time and you wouldn't have even seen the impact because of the dust and the tank moving backward because of recoil. It's also not the projectile speed, 4,365m/s is ridiculous as even Sabot rounds move at like 1,700m or more per second and nothing fired out of a tank moves as slow as 400m per second. It also looks to come from above because of perspective and the optics are heavily zoomed in. HEAT rounds are very heavy, so the gun barrel has to be pointed upwards more than for a Sabot round fired at the same range. Ballistics. |

Death toll now stands at 30. More images from the shelling in Zaporizhzhia. Original post is here in the closed/archived media thread: https://www.documentingreality.com/f...ml#post7663794 Thanks to Susan for sending these to me. EDIT: Added antemortem photo of the gentlemen in the 2nd photo. Quote from the person who posted it: "This man transported people from Melitopol (the occupied territory by russian terrorists). Russians killed him today."

"A pair of Russian BTR-82As fire from a tree line, and very quickly start taking Ukrainian artillery fire. Ukrainian forces have consistently been able to accurately and quickly task fire support against Russian targets, with troops in the field frequently streaming back live images and other information to command posts."

One of the amazing aspects of this war is how traditional radio communications are at times taking a back seat role to smartphones and apps like Telegram. War is changing
