- The Ukrainian offensive has deepened eastward and reached Ridkodub. Most likely, supply operations feeding Russians in Lyman has ceased from there.

In addition, Ukrainian forces have pushed closer to Yampil, threatening supply lines to the north and east, which are easily within artillery range.

The offensive operations to the north clearly have the goal of cutting off supply lines to the Drobysheve-Lyman-Yampil area.

It would be prudent of the Ukrainian General Staff to allow a route of retreat for Russian forces in this area - if completely surrounded they may stay and fight to the death, which would likely cause high casualties of Ukrainian forces.
