1. When the russian army encountered fuel problems, they began switching to gas generators and the gas distribution infrastructure in the occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region. Therefore it was targetted by Ukrainian drones.

8/9/10. On the evening of September 9, 2026, a Ukrainian sea drone (USV) and aerial drone strike directly hit the crowded waterfront promenade in Sochi, russia. The attack brought the war directly to the premier russian Black Sea resort city, shocking tourists and causing widespread panic.

Explosive naval surface drones bypassed coastal defenses and detonated right against the central embankment. The resulting blasts sparked a massive blaze along the popular Primorskaya Embankment, heavily damaging beach infrastructure and partially destroying the Chernomorskaya Zharovnya waterfront restaurant.

The attack occurred near the Festivalny Concert Hall, forcing the sudden shutdown of a live performance by popular russian singer Tatyana Bulanova (a vocal supporter of the invasion).
