Bridge was well made. Russians keep patching stuff up, but given it's pre-tensioned concrete, that will only do so much. Not a construction guy though, interested in opinions of anyone on here who is
Well, idk how they used to do it, but nowadays you have to use rebars that runs 4 directions with the ties inside the columns. This rebars are suppose to keep the concrete from banding, now they’re also tension cables, not as many as rebars but still they are very important and used so that the concrete don’t stretch, which cause cracks and so on. Together, if proper inspections took place and contractors didn’t go cheap on materials or making money by installing less of those, concrete structure will stay moonlit for years. Now if there is a damage, you can fix it, but connecting new system of required rebars with the old ones. BTW there are different types of concrete. For ski risers and bridges you have to use the strongest one, when for residential houses you can pretty much mix a cow shit with the water and wait till it dries out

Right on. Never been to Miami but I have been to Orlando and Ft Meyers. House I bought here south of Denver is a great house but the contractor who wired it for internet was very lazy. I finished rewiring it a few months ago and added my own server.

Yeah that’s a low voltage contractor. In Miami smart home systems getting popular. You can make shit load of money with companies like Creston. Just gotta get their own license.

I just realized what section I’m in…

New Russian air to air rocket VYMPEL RX-37 ( NATO name AA13- AXEHEAD). The unique part about this rocket is its operational range, 400 km

EDIT: well shit, turns out not so much new. In service since 2019

Not sure if this is the same pontoon bridge over the Inhulets river in Kherson oblast or a new one.

Also the tank looks like a captured Russian T-80U, those smoke launchers at the front of the turret
