Re: Russian Invasion Ukraine. Day: 1538-1577 (May 11 - May 20)
1. First drone misses enemy soldier but second drone didn't. 2/3. On May 8, 2026, Ukrainian drones targeted Grozny, the capital of the Chechen Republic. This strike was part of a larger wave of drone attacks across the North Caucasus that led to the temporary closure of 13 regional airports. A drone struck one of russia's primary military hubs in the region, Khankala Military Base, which serves as the headquarters for the 42nd Guards Motor Rifle Division. Another drone crashed near Grozny’s central railway station, roughly 120 meters from the local FSB building. Falling debris caused damage to buildings within the Grozny-City business district and ignited a fire at a nearby supermarket. Ukraine used modified light aircraft converted into one-way kamikaze drones to cover the distance of over 1,000 km (620 miles) from the Ukrainian border to Grozny. 4. In the Konstantinovsky direction, operators of the 93rd Motor Rifle Brigade hit 3 enemy armored vehicles, two of which were set on fire. 5. Drone of the Perun Battalion of the 42nd Mechanized Brigade hits an invader shooting at the drone. 6. Drones of the 8th Separate Special Purpose Regiment of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces at work killing 3 occupiers. 7. The Sunstrike unit of the 414th Separate Regiment of Strike Unmanned Systems used specialized interceptor drones to neutralize the Scalpel without detonating its warhead. Unlike standard kamikaze drones that destroy their targets on impact, these interceptors, such as the P1-SUN or Sting models, are often equipped with soft kill capabilities. By using electronic jamming or physically entangling the target, sometimes using nets or forced landings, operators can bring down high-value enemy assets relatively intact. Capturing a Scalpel allows Ukrainian engineers to study its navigation systems, electronic components, and anti-jamming improvements that russia has integrated into its newer loitering munitions. The russian Scalpel is a newer, lower-cost alternative to the well-known Lancet drone. It features a similar X-wing configuration but is designed for mass production using more off-the-shelf components to supplement the more expensive Lancet fleet. It is used for precision strikes against artillery, armored vehicles, and air defense systems at a range of roughly 40 kilometers but this one didn't. 8. In the Toretsk-Kostyantynivka direction the specialized Ukrainian drone unit Cursed Empire of the 100th Mechanized Brigade uses FPV drones and heavy Queen Hornets. They are known for methodically targeting russian armor, logistics, and personnel. 9. Drones of the Perun Battalion of the 42nd Mechanized Brigade taking care of 8 invaders. 10. In the Novopavlovsk direction drones of the Perun Battalion of the 42nd Mechanized Brigade eliminate 5 invaders that came by bike. 11. Drones kill several enemy soldiers. 12. The Aviation and Missile Defense Regiment of the 93rd Motor Rifle Brigade eliminates an occupier trying to fend off a drone with a tree branch. 13. The Prymary unit is an elite drone and special operations group within the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine. They are specialized in deep strikes hitting high-value targets hundreds of kilometers behind enemy lines to degrade logistics, like trains and air defenses like radar stations etc. During the first week of May, Prymary operators were credited with damaging or destroying several russian naval assets, incl. 3 Project 05060 landing craft, a Be-12 Chaika amphibious anti-submarine aircraft. Throughout April and early May 2026, the unit systematically dismantled russian "eyes." They successfully destroyed several critical radar systems, incl. the the Kasta-2E2 and components of the S-300V air defense system. In this vid they destroyed the communication and power supply point of the Gera/Gerbera UAV repeater and a Podlet-K1 radar system which is used for detecting low-altitude targets. A Vaigach MR-231-3 radar system. An OER post, MR-231, Serval electronic warfare system, electronic countermeasures and electronic protection equipment. A Baltika-B radar system which is an electronic warfare station and surveillance system of the russian Armed Forces. A hangar sheltering a Su-24 aircraft. An oil product reservoir at the ATAN company's oil base. An hangar sheltering a Su-30 aircraft. An electronic protection laboratory on the roof of the russian Armed Forces headquarters building. 14. Drone hits occupier ending up in trench. 15. Air defense systems and radar complexes were destroyed by the SBS Birds during the first week of May. Among the 16 military targets were a Tor-M2 air defense system, in the Mykhailivka settlement, Zaporizhia region. A Tunguska air defense system, in the Zhigalki settlement, Bryansk region, russia, was hit by the Ukr. 413th Reid battalion. An Oil depot in Luhansk city. Enemy armored vehicles in the Troyitske settlement in the Luhansk region and gas infrastructure in Luhansk city was hit by the Fenix Group of the State Border Guard Service. 16. Agonizing death of an occupier after 3 drone droppings. 17. ;) The SBS, Unmanned Systems Forces, is the first military branch in the world dedicated entirely to unmanned systems, including air, sea, and land robots. As of early 2026, the SBS is commanded by Major Robert Magyar Brovdi, a commander who previously led the Magyar's Birds unit. It operates as a unified vertical, coordinating elite drone regiments like the 413th Reid and the 414th Magyar's Birds under a single command. Brovdi was promoted to oversee all of Ukraine's drone, robotic, and unmanned naval operations. Their still busy killing invaders by the dozen. 18. Limping occupier receives an instant cure. |

Well, You can blame THAT on Russia, TOO! You wouldn't have to listen to that if the Russians hadn't started the war. EVERYTHING is THEIR FAULT! |
