Man we had a data acquistion device at work at work they insisted on having bluetooth to help us. Well the thing will start comm on a vehicle if you hook it by accident or intent no matter what, if the protocol does not match it tries until it can. If the id is wrong it proceeds, if the tech enters data that don't match the vehicle it will proceed. So it can certify shit with almost no security provisions and then the fucking state starts using the data mismatchs to generate fraud cases. Who is the idiot? This is society wide problem at the moment with tech advancing too rapidly.
