It's weird; but I get it. I remember one night around 2 AM waking up to a mortar attack and thinking "fuck it.. i'm tired.. if the gd thing hits me, it hits me." Then some asshole dogooder woke me up and pulled me into the bunker. It's weird because it becomes normal. A person accepts what is happening. Idk how else to explain it. It becomes something to joke about. |

Yes, the spelling thing is correct. Kharkiv and Kharkov are Ukrainian and Russian spellings of the same place, respectively. Just like Odesa/Odessa Donbas/Donbass Sloviansk/Slovyansk Kyiv/Kiev Sievierodonetsk/Severdonetsk Dnipropetrovsk/Dnepropetrovsk Avdiivka/Avdeevka You can always tell who runs a website in Ukraine based on the spelling of their location. lol But many Ukrainians speak Russian. Many things are available in Russian, in Ukraine. But I have a friend from Macedonia who knows Russian, but not Ukrainian. lol Yes, it's fucking confusing. And there are several variations of many cities, both in Ukrainian and Russian. lol Take it from me from someone who's been down many rabbit holes searching for live cameras in Ukrainian cities, some in Russian areas... using English/Ukrainian/Russian/Ukrainian Cyrillic/Russian Cyrillic/Romanized variations of the same city. It's been the bane of my existence for 3 months. In my book, they're in Ukraine, I prefer to logically use the Ukrainian spelling. I also wouldn't use Ukrainian spellings for Russian city names. But haven't had to worry about that.

It’s normal. Every language has its own version of spelling or pronouncing things. Russians Moskva - English Moscow. Etc

They speak Ukranian: - I always thought how I would feel/act if something would explode right over me… - how? - fuck, like everyone is scared or some other shit.. well yeah, not acceptable. - ohhh fuck! Ohh fuck! Then hard to hear |

Depends on the model. Many older machine guns are full auto or nothing, especially the open bolt ones. AK's are safety, semi auto or full auto. The American M16A1, A2, A3 have multiple fire modes.

True. The USMC guys used to get jelly because our m16's had safe, single, or full auto. theirs only had safe, single, 3 round bursts. to be fair.. full auto is wildly inaccurate. |
