Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
One killed in blast at FSB building in southern Russia ![]() ROSTOV-ON-DON, Russia, March 16 (Reuters) - At least one person was killed and two were injured on Thursday in a blast and fire at a building belonging to Russia's FSB security service in the southern city of Rostov-on-Don, according to officials quoted by Russian news agencies. Footage captured by Reuters showed thick black smoke billowing into the air near residential buildings and a shopping centre in Rostov, capital of a region that adjoins parts of eastern Ukraine where battles with Russia are raging. The FSB, whose roles include internal security and counter-terrorism, said in a statement that fuel and lubricants had caught fire in a workshop, causing an explosion and the partial collapse of the building housing its border patrol section. Rostov Governor Vasily Golubev said the fire appeared to have been caused by an electrical short-circuit, and that nearby buildings had been evacuated while the fire burned. Russian news agencies quoted emergency services as saying one person had been killed and two more injured. Russia has reported sporadic fires at oil and gas installations on Russian territory near Ukraine, as well as attacks on its railways, since starting what it calls its "special military operation" last year. Moscow has sometimes accused Kyiv of cross-border attacks with drones. Last month, President Vladimir Putin told the FSB to do more to counter what he said was increasing espionage and sabotage by Ukraine and the West. Mykhailo Podolyak, a senior aide to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, denied that Ukraine was responsible for the blast in Rostov, tweeting: "Ukraine doesn’t interfere, but watches with pleasure..." https://www.reuters.com/world/europe...ss-2023-03-16/ |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
I'd like to hear from mods is it OK for me to post this merc stories here? "Polish mercenary Krzysztof Tyfel who participated in the battle in Petropavlovka was killed in Bakhmut. Our team identified another member of the mercenary platoon in Petropavlovka. Krzysztof Tyfel was born in 1989 in Czestochowa, Poland. He was a scout in the 27th Infantry Regiment's Rifle Division from the age of 18 until 2010. He tried to open a business in England, but was unsuccessful. In 2022 he went to Ukraine as a mercenary. First he enlisted in the Georgian Legion (the photo shows militants transporting in a school bus). He was an instructor in Rivne. In July 2022, he transferred to the Foreign Legion and joined the unit together with Janusz Szeremeta and Riku Arima. In September 2022, all three, became involved in a battle with the crew of the Russian BMP-2 No. 539. The mercenaries shot the unarmed Russian negotiator and called for a tank to shell a house with the wounded Russian fighters who had taken refuge there at point-blank range. He was liquidated in Bakhmut on 04.12.22." Source: https://t.me/foreigncombatants |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
"The SBU detained two women from Kramatorsk who were passing information to the Russians about the positions of Ukrainian troops near Bakhmut. The women also recorded the results of shelling and corrected the repeated attacks. One of them is an active nurse of a combat unit of the Territorial Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The women were arrested."

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
Found another video. It also had the CCTV video included from Whiskey's post and where the source refers to explosions. "Two walls collapsed in the FSB building in Rostov-on-Don. Authorities say the fire was caused by a short circuit in the warehouse, which set tanks with fuel and lubricants on fire. One person has been reported dead and at least two injured. Meanwhile, videos of the beginning of the fire are being posted on social media. They clearly show explosions." As of 12:36 ET it was reported by RU emergency services that at least 3 people were killed. EDIT 19:33 ET: added another video EDIT 20:35 ET: added another video

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III
Another case of Russian sources recycling footage labeling it as their own. I've included a screenshot of it's original posting on 14 February. The OP was a different view but these new videos are the same incident that were not available at the time of the OP. "Today, Russian telegram channels reported on the destruction of the Ukrainian BM-21 Grad. But there is always, but. In the video, the Russian TOS-1A Solntsepyok destroyed near Ugledar in mid-February"

I'm on that site! But no seriously, Russians have the dumbest idea on what a mercenary is. All while having a literal pmc whose motto is "I don't believe in anything I'm just here for the violence." |
