Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

If west is trying to be a good boy, why you would attack an independent country without UN approval? Because you can shit on it when you need it or use it when you also need it? Who said that Miloshevich was what western media wanted him to be? And to compare nazi Germany to Yugoslavia you’ve got to be brainewashed

Idk some NATO countries or not… you got my point. NATO is a war unit that can be used for unlawful, unjustified crimes backed up by media to make them look good.
Ffs over 2 wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria some sources say roughly 6 mil people died or got wounded. Where are the sanctions ffs? Those kids are not important ? Women? I do not support Russian aggression and I do believe Putin is a murderer , but who are you Us/NATO to judge Russia after everything what have been done by your armies? Especially US… this is Russian border , what US forgot there or any other conflict in euroasia… Jesus take care of Mexican cartels maybe? .. oh I get it, no profit there.
Sure, NATO can be used for malicious purposes if the circumstances are right. But do you honestly think this is what is happening right now? Normally I'm the guy who says fuck the government, and especially a world government. But NATO at least on paper exists for this very reason - the only exception is that Ukraine isn't a NATO or EU member but they're a reasonably developed country with strong ties to Europe.

Russia outright invaded a sovereign country for demonstrably ridiculous reasons. If a 3rd world shithole invades another no one really gives a shit not because they aren't white but because those countries are typically a never-ending revolving door of crippling poverty, nonexistent economies and dictatorships. Georgia was invaded by Russia and the world pretty much didn't do shit. Tell me those people aren't white (they are). Watch what happens when China invades Taiwan, we'll be assisting Taiwan with stuff that will hurt the Chinese, regardless of who's our President.

Sanctions - sanctioning a shithole country? Sanctioning a leader who likely has little if any actual control over their country? Are you going to sanction each tribe and faction by name who live in mud huts and shit in ditches? Tell them they can't buy iPhones anymore and can't make SWIFT payments? These countries' economies are already garbage and lots of them don't even have a solid, single national identity and a good deal of their "economies" rely on in-country black markets supplied by smugglers.

“ Russia outright invaded a sovereign country for demonstrably ridiculous reasons.”

What if Russia saw the Ukrainian president, already having received billions in weapon funding from outside states, on television begging for nucleair weapons?

People would call those actual weapons of mass destruction btw

He didn't beg for nuclear weapons (as no one would give him that), he hinted they could develop their own. Not strategically smart, but reasonable as they gave away their nukes after the soviet fall for security guarantees by Russia, US, etc.

As for using that as an excuse for invading that is just Putin propaganda.

Of course, unless you believe that Putin knew what Zelensky would do in 2022, back in 2014 when he started the invasion.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

I've purposely avoided this dumpster fire.. however.. I have a question.

It's truly a question. I've got to preface this as it is not an attack.. it's nothing.. it's just a jerkoff asking a question. However, itt is provocative by nature.

I don't understand some views.. truly. It's why I ask.

I've seen 2 views from ruskies.. it's always denial. For the most part the denial has come from the kremlin. but .. the dynamic i dont understand is this other..

it's the rationalization of literally everything. It's confusing. when confronted with absolute proof after proof evidence of terrible things.. it gets rationalized. civis have guns.. or the west.. or donbas atrocities; name it.

im an american.. but i'm not a fucking idiot... i know what our govt is capable of. i know what they do.. i acknowledge it.

i'm having a hard time understanding how any russian can't think about these things??

there's no denying bucha happened. that's factual. it's met with extreme denial and/or rationialization. but how? how is an old man tied to a tree and shot? how is a kid murdered indescriminately?? it doesn't make sense to me at all..

it's this weird dynamic that russians have.. and i dont understand it. honestly.. i'd like if the lead cocksucker Faust would answer this as he's the self-appointed spokesperson.
Have seen dead bodies in bucha, but haven't seen videos/pictures Russians killing them.
Is there any post I'm missing?

There should probably be some bellingcat twitter post about an intercepted Russian phone call on social media about generals congratulating each other about killing civilians? Not that I have seen it but this is the kind of proof we have come to expect these days

2014 was not an invasion; how can Ukraine invade itself lol? They just killed some people in the self proclaimed republics. There was no referendum there like in crimea.
Had Ukraine invaded crimea after the referendum then that would be an invasion. But they only invaded some Donbas republics which were part of itself at the time

Everybody knows Russia invaded certain Ukrainian territories in 2014. If you don't know that you must either be a dirty Russian, or be mentally retarded (if there is any difference). Which one is it?

Lol, I see that you are retarded. There were Russians there, but it surely arrived a heck more - uninvited. You could surely call it an invasion. Why this need to defend a crazy dictator such as Putin.

A failure in life, and anger at society?
