The day I asked Team Russia weeks ago why they have their opinions, the only one who responded (to my knowledge) was duntez.

Although deep down I really want to play soldier, I definitely do not think any war where you leave your country in justified except maybe in extreme cases where you are off to defend some other douchebags.

We all attempt to generalize things way too much to satisfy our pattern hungry brains, but it really is actually individuals making decisions and each case is different. We sacrifice our individuality for the notions of nation, tribe etc for the safety and comfort they seem to provide.
