Israel did invade Lebanon if memory serves when Hezbollah decided to get stupid with rocket attacks. Thats why I replied the way I did with Faust. But that was impressive when Saddam built a nuclear reactor with French help and Israel was like "the fuck you are" and sent F-16's screaming across the desert and bombed the hell out of it.  |

 Yeah, thought you were talking about when one country physically invades another. Aside from the Gaza Strip (not trying to open up that massive can of worms) Israel only invaded Lebanon with ground forces if I'm remembering that little incursion of theirs right. But then again they did push into Syria/Jordan/Egypt decades ago during those respective wars when they wiped the floor with those countries.If Putin invades another country after Ukraine, he'll just be snowballing more short and long-term crap his way. The funny part is that Putin has been trying hard to create buffer zones that aren't NATO countries. Now that his plans in Ukraine are shitting the bed, Finland is set to join NATO in early May. How funny would that be if Finland announced NATO membership the day before the Russian Victory Parade on May 9th. Important holiday in Russia when they defeated the actual Nazi's of WW2. |

I was referring to Israel in terms of not invading to conquer and acquire territory, they are trying to not lose what they have and retaliate when they are threatened. Not Israeli or Jewish, BTW, I have no skin in the game.
