I would be surprised if Russia is taking any more than 10-20 losses a day at worst, from drones and artillery. If Russia was losing 162 soldiers a day for 6 months that approximately 30,000 soldiers. I very much doubt they would have continued fighting let alone taking more territory.

This is the Russian Army. If they're attacking and being met with significant resistance and not outright taking large swaths of territory, they're taking far more casualties than 10-20 per day. It's been shown that they were cobbling together understrength battalions to augment their assaults, especially that of Severodonyetsk.

This does not happen if they're only taking 10-20 deaths per day.....
