Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

Talking reason to a pro-ruski is unfortunately an impossible task Years of tightly controlled propaganda fuelled state media does that I guess
I’ve been living in the US for almost 20 years now. Came here when I was 19 and obviously all I could care before that age or quite some time after is getting laid and have a fun so no Russian propaganda here, but I like history and like to compare ( WHATABOUTISM) in order to judge things properly. So here I am judging the Russian invasion, yet seeing the reasons to do it

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

Truth be told you have to understand the huge difference between American nationalists and Ukrainan Nationalists.
Or even understanding the position these guys play in Ukraines military.
Where Ukraine hadnt had any form of capable military , it was combat 14, (Combat 18 in the rest of the world)
That went to fight. No body fights harder for their nation than those who truthfully love the idea of their nation.
That was it-
NS in Ukraine , Love Ukraine, I'm not and I will never be pro Zelenski, and this idea is shared among every Azov and DUK member I've met.
I think he's done well as a strong leader, I think he's done well by not being a bunker bitch, which is something I can't say the same of in the cases of two other leaders in world history I admired.

Ukraine national socialists:
Keep Ukraine out of NATO, the EU, And out of Russia,

American National Socialists: No real defined goal, at all. I was tempted to put " @$&+#(@(-@-@" instead of no real defined goal.
Positions that played SS battalions were very much the same. Also, as people who believe in their nation, just like Hitlers SS, AZOV was and still is the most effective unit within UA military but that doesn’t justify their views about other Ukrainians opinion, in our case Crimea or Donbas. Those people are Ukrainians by birth, been living there for 100s of years and all they did was - disregarding unlawful, taking by force power in UA by some weirdos who for the most part did some jail time or didn’t have any education to back up their governmental positions. Their president was overthrown without them saying a word on this matter. Donbas and Crimea over 6 million people who no one didn’t care to ask about what they think. They had all the right to say: “fuck that” and for that they were punished. I am and always will be on south eastern Ukrainian side.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

Military training? I got vaccinated and lived in a mainly Albanian part of Kyiv for nearly a month, that's not exactly military training.
If training can be defined as "anything that causes high stress and run a risk of catching STDs" Than yes, Brutal intense training .

The photo was when we took mariupol from DPR forces, (In two days)

When I first reenlisted to azov I was with 226th recon unit, which involved driving too and fro everyday trying to monitor any equipment changes within Belarus, now it's assigned to the 126th brigade, back then it was with 1st battalion,. I wasn't reassigned to second battalion until days before the war, which is where I shouldve been the entire time .

Luhansk begin shelling UA territory as early as December.
It wasn't until February that we began killing militants belonging to DPR and LPR, as far north as Kharkov in some cases.
I was stationed in Luhansk with unit 3, Of the second battalion when the war broke out with niether DPR or LPR but russia- attacking Ukraine. I didn't see Russian infantry until about 3 days in until then it was just kalibars, helicopters and su's.
And that was beyond what I was prepared to deal with at the time. Honestly we all thought the war was lost in the same week.
Can you confirm that before the conflict, Ukraine was planning and gearing up to re-take Crimea?

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

Well shit, how many Americans can afford Audi or Mercedes? And I’m not talking about 10-20 years old dust pans, but new models? With US salary even? Also, I used to live in NC and I can tell the same goes for Florida you can see a crappy house or even a trailer and 2022 w/e brand car parked next to it! Also, it is not Russian thing to “shine bright like a diamond” but poor or middle class in general, especially if we r talking about high life level cities. In my case Miami is exactly what you have described. People making fucking $$15-20 an hour and leasing brand new car. Also, as economist, I can tell you that high numbers of credit such as cards, mortgage or car leasing pointing to a strong progressive or rising economy
I was making a point that I don't consider most Audi and Mercedes models "luxury" cars. They have entry level models and high end performance and luxury models.

States are in a class of dystopian hell of their own. Just like Soviet Union was a great example of worst of communism, states are an example of worst of capitalism.

But, the thing is, Americans didn't kill or enslave my ancestors. Russians did. So I dislike White House and despise Kremlin. If you get my drift.

Old West (ex-colonial powers) are a bunch of hypocrites and they, to some degree, deserve the social collapse that is unraveling. They built their wealth on the blood of others, so I don't give a shit about them. Same goes for the Russia and Kremlin.

The tragedy of this all is as always - the innocent suffer the most, while the wicked and corrupt live lavish lives.

I can agree with that
