Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

I did some plumbing at a Hungarian restaurant in SF and before we could leave they sat us down and fed us what we had seen them slowly preparing all day, I cant remember exactly what it was but it was one of the best meals of my life
Hey! I’ve done some plumbing myself!

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

Because, this attitude is still here in Latvia.
Idk besides this attitude anything else? Becz if US will follow your logic African Americans gotta go back to their homeland like yesterday. Which is wrong. Also, I think British youth took that leadership from Russia long time ago IMO.

Yeah they know what’s up, that’s great to hear!
I helped a colleague move a few years ago, his gf or wife was Hungarian and she also made something where there was chicken meat wrapped around other meat lol, it sounds excessive but also that was really good.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

I believe the Latvian kitchen is maybe influenced by neighbouring countries, so there could be good from those regions maybe
You see, I knew where you were with this lol. Of course there are a lot of influences from neighbouring cultures, but it doesn't mean those foods are the best. Although I really like rosol salad

That looks tasty as well.

In Greece there is some kind of tripe soup which some variations they have in other countries as well, like Turkey or other Baltic countries. That soup for me is the best even though other people really hate it (because of the ingredients). Turks and Greek people have been in war often, but some food is the same so I believe that means that people might be able to live peacefully one day. But it is more likely they kill each other first :-(

Viral hitmakers and one of the most popular Russian bands, Little Big, whose video count has more than 2 billion views with previous single Skibidi becoming their most popular video with more than 500 million views and UNO, is bringing to the United States for the first time their new single and music video Generation Cancellation. Recently exiled from their homeland for releasing a bold anti-war statement directed by Alina Pasok and Ilia Prusikin, the band is making a powerful stand with this new track.

Johnson and G7 leaders joke about Putin during official meeting
Boris Johnson joked about Vladimir Putin with fellow world leaders as they met at the G7 summit in Germany.
The Prime Minister and Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau discussed the Russian leader and his history of being photographed without a shirt.

As the sun shone at Schloss Elmau in the Bavarian Alps, where the G7 leaders were meeting, Mr Johnson questioned whether they should keep their suit jackets on.

Warming to his theme, he then added “shall we take our clothes off?”, suggesting “we all have to show that we’re tougher than Putin”.

Mr Trudeau joined in, referring to a “bare-chested horseback ride” – Mr Putin was pictured shirtless riding a horse in 2009.

Mr Johnson then said: “We’ve got to show our pecs.”

Hopefully, that will be enough. If you knew enough Ukrainians you'd know that they are one of the most resilient people in the world. Even if Russia wins, there will never be peace.

There has been war for 8 years already with 14.000 civilians killed.
That is on Putin for not stepping in earlier and trying diplomacy and Minsk agreements.

As for the current special military operation: you cannot make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.
