Sorry for a long post, maybe there are some Army nerds who will find it as a good read. So I did a little research to see if Russia has something similar to HIMARS and here is what I found.

Ukraine stated that Russia used this system at least once, because they have found fragments of the rocket.

"Tornado-S" is a modernized MLRS 9K58 "Smerch". Already in service and suppose to fully substitute outdated MRLS “Smerch” by 2027.
The system includes a modernized combat vehicle equipped with ASUNO and new unguided 300 mm rockets with a maximum range of up to 120 km, as well as an adjustable 9M542 rocket with a detachable high-explosive or cassette head with a range of up to 120 km. In the future, it is possible to increase the range to 200 km.
Tornado-S is distinguished by new guided rockets and an improved combat vehicle, which was created on the basis of the Smerch BM. An automated fire control system and start-up preparation equipment are installed here. Thanks to this, information can be quickly received and processed, autonomous topographic binding of the combat vehicle and orientation on the ground are also possible.

Composition of MLRS 9K515 "Tornado-S":
- combat vehicle (BM) 9A54;
- transport and charging machine (TZM) 9T255;
- training complex, means of automatic fire control system (ASUNO), topographic binding car (topobinder) and meteorological machine, RS of 300 mm caliber.
A key feature of the Tornado-S MLRS is a new automated guidance and fire control system, which allows you to simultaneously control the shooting of the division, as well as automatically calculate target data. The use of the new system will significantly increase the accuracy of shooting and reduce the deployment time of the complex from marching to combat. The departure time of the BM 9A54 from the firing position after the volley is reduced to 1 minute. Equipping BM 9A54 with on-board control and communication equipment (ABUS) and ASUNO provides:
- automated reception (transfer) of information and its protection from unauthorized access, display of information on the scoreboard and its storage;
- autonomous tapering, navigation and orientation of the combat vehicle on the ground with display on an electronic map;
- automatic guidance of the package of guides without leaving the calculation from the cabin. The main range of PC of 300 mm caliber:
- 9M55K with HF with fragmentation combat elements;
- 9M55F with detachable high-explosive HF;
- Shells receive flight task data from a control unit created on the basis of a platformless inertial navigation system (BINS). At the same time, each of the shells can be assigned individual coordinates, for example, by flight range.
The Tornado-S guided projectile can be programmed not only for a certain range, but also along a trajectory. Thus, it becomes possible to breed shells for various purposes. MLRS "Tornado-S" has a system of autonomous correction of the flight trajectory of the RS. Flight correction at the corners of pitch and yaw, carried out according to the signals of the control system, is carried out by the gas-dynamic executive body. In addition, the RS is stabilized by its pre-tightening along the launch guides, and maintained in flight thanks to the opening blades. When firing in a volley, the dispersion of shells does not exceed 0.3% of the range. An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) can be used to ensure target designation. “Tornado S” uses Russian “GLONASS” satellite system.
