Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Good morning children! https://kenigtiger.livejournal.com Phone refused to work with me on selecting all the text I had slaved over having it translate. Кот is sad, you see no one though all the new units being drawn from the nursing homes needed like office stuff to do paperwork. Putin is pulling old Imperial typewriters out of storage but it will take time to train technicians. Until then dear Кот found a pc that was kinda slow causes it filled with Russian gay porn but he got the DNR personnel software installed (Windows Notepad) and sent it out. Also he is sad cause war is lost, Russians will end it soon cause they are bored and want to buy good products and leave shit hole once in a awhile. They dont really want to win, then no one will like them for long time, but agreement is nice cause then they have something to bitch about and 1 more reason to stay more drunk more of the time. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Faust's article he posted in the media thread, which he clearly didn't read. https://www.rt.com/news/557220-china...curity-issues/ Obvious you didn't even read it my guy. "China is willing to continue to offer mutual support to Russia on issues concerning our core interests such as sovereignty and security, intensify strategic coordination between the two countries, and strengthen communication and coordination in major international and regional organizations such as the United Nations, BRICS, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization,” Xi was quoted as saying by China’s state media outlet CCTV." "Touching on the conflict in Ukraine, Xi noted, according to Chinese state media, that Beijing has always made independent judgments. He also reportedly called on all parties to the conflict to find a peaceful resolution, with the Chinese leadership ready to play a constructive role in the process." "My opinion is in line with academics" you say, oh please just stop being silly. This is why literally no one takes you seriously on here. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
“No no no Ukraine are only saying that because then the west can send more weapons, in reality Ukraine is only PRETENDING to lose ground, territory, weapons, soldiers, cities and so on. It is just to make the stupid Russians think that they are winning so that the Ghost Of Kiev can descend from the clouds and destroy all Russian forces in the country!! A guy on twitter is claiming this and he seems legit. Also I was in the army as a special marine” -signed Whisky |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
I know you just want to counter me no matter what, but I implore you to to take a step back from emotion and think. I'm willing to be civil with you. Russia is gaining ground in the east, that much is true. But here and there they are losing it. Plus Kherson isn't looking good for them. When you look at the grand picture, it's not good at all good for Russia. All of the factors on mind. Their manpower is greatly strained as is evident with new BTG's being cobbled together from severely understrength units. Some of them almost eradicated. The Ukranians are suffering on this front too, but I believe their advantages will compensate for their weaknesses to a greater degree than Russia's. Almost the entire world is helping Ukraine, pretty much only Russia is helping Russia. They're a hot potato, few countries want anything to do with them. Plus the mounting domestic realization that this is a catastrophe. How on Earth the Russians haven't pushed Ukraine fully out of Severodonyetsk is also a clue. They absolutely poured resources into there, yet Ukraine is still there. They removed forces from the south and Kharkiv area to do it. That gives a strong indication of severe issues the Russian Army is having. I am surprised how this is playing out. Ukranian Govt states Russians have lost roughly 33,000 personnel but I'm skeptical of that, as I've said many times when they come out with a number. But that being said it's obvious that the actual number is still incredibly high. From reading reports not from Russia, one can conclude that the number is at least 20,000 just adding up the known destroyed vehicles. The Ukranian casualty numbers are likely higher, but anyone who has studied war, knows that attacking is far, far harder than defending. Plus the motivation factor for defenders defending their families and homes. Russians don't have that. Not to mention all of the international aid, pressure, sanctions. "Sanctions" is a cliché word now but they are undoubtedly having an effect. It's impossible for them not to. You're thinking more in terms of individual battles on a single front. I'm talking about this broadly - that's what historians call "tactical vs strategic". You know what this is, don't pretend not to. Ukraine is winning strategically, no one is doubting that, except some of team Russia on DR and some hacks or people in denial who literally live in Russia. Russia can still pull it off, but they seriously need to get their asses in gear. I'm not sure but that ship may have sailed already. They lost Kyiv. They lost Kharkiv. They took extremely high casualties when extremely high casualties are more devastating for an attacker rather than a defender. They lost the momentum and were forced to completely change their objectives, pace, and tactics. In mid-war. That's a terrible mistake. They misjudged Ukranian forces and demeanor of the average citizen, and they are paying for it dearly. All of these things added together is what I've been talking about when I say Ukraine is winning, and they are. We will see what happens. |
