Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Nope, thanks. If indeed the number of casualties by the hands of coalition forces is indeed 500K (or more), keep in mind it happened over the course of almost two decades of combat operations, that the coalition Air forces established air superiority very early in the conflict, the coalition forces were quite above board with most (not all) operations, and collateral civilian casualties were minimized. Wholesale slaughter was not on the main menu. Additionally, with an awesome kill/loss ratio, that just means coalition forces were simply really good at doing their jobs - which is to kill people and blow up their shit. Our intentions in the middle east were not always noble (it was about the oil and always was), but our execution (har har) was pretty fucking stellar. If you think for one split second that you rattling off a bunch of easily disproven "factoids" to me is going to change my mind about Russian intentions in Ukraine, please consider otherwise. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Hey now I post a decent amount of Russian media. And your comment of all artillery the Russians fire is "high precision" That's a hard nope. Wrong. Even if they put every round exactly where they wanted it, with their barrages they would wipe out entire grid squares with that amount. But they're not precise, and that's not even accommodating for human error. Buildings in Ukraine aren't made of tungsten coated steel and reinforced cement-and-rebar. C'mon dude be honest with yourself and it's clear you don't have the knowledge to be making a ridiculous claim like that. Just stop already my god |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
And somewhere in the middle lies the truth. Huh? How about Russian people living in Ukraine either a), moving back to Russia where they won't be "persecuted" or b), the Russian armed forces realizing that the Russian civilian populace living in Ukraine didn't want and/or didn't ask for "help"? Ya ever think about that, homeboy? Air Superiority is how you win wars nowadays, not decades-old tanks rumbling down the streets crushing cars like a monster truck rally. NATO forces have had and used precision-guided air-to-ground weapons since you were in diapers, likely before. Bombing the shit out of civilian targets is not a good method if you're doing the "hearts and minds" thing which Russian troops seem so intent on doing. Perhaps you should relay that to TASS and they can up channel that to Herr Putin. If nothing else, you're funny. I really don't know if you can be deprogrammed at this point, so just keep writing nonsense. Jokes are on you. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Almost forgot. Who had to leave before the taliban overran the country? Huh? Afghan forces couldn't or didn't want to try and defend their country from fundamentalist Islamic factions. We tried to train 'em and give 'em the tools and the talent to do so, but in the interest of self-preservation, the Afghan military put up feeble, sporadic resistance and the called it. That is why I have such admiration for the Ukrainian people, they will lay down their lives to defend their country, to the last Molotov Cocktail or sharp rock. Respect. Regardless what you think they're chasing as a country, it isn't Russia to decide for them. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Never mentioned that. Those are your words. The vast majority of us in this country don't care what the immigration situation is. The vocal few get all the attention. Sound familiar? Don't care about what the middle east think of us, either. Immigrants from there to here just want a better life. If we are so goddamn nasty to them, they would stay put. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
First of all, they aren't saying it is "low", I can guarantee you that. But I get it - when the MSM media says something you like, you use it here as a citation because it fits your opinion. When they say something you don't like, it's "fake". If that is even true, they are members of the Russian Armed Forces and are under legal obligation even more than Russian civilians to not say anything critical about the war effort. Even if they were critical about it, it's unlikely they're going to be forthcoming. I don't watch CNN, and I easily have more Russian Telegram channels in my list. They're more numerous because they're either brainwashed, afraid, or desperate to derail the information train they know is against them. But they're clogged with RT photo-op crap and Chechens jacking themselves off. They have less actual combat footage and more interviews with servicemen who you know can't say shit. Easy choice for me. Sometimes they have some actual combat, airstrike and chopper stuff. I post more Russian stuff than you say, you're not counting right. As for Russia winning, keep dreaming. I'll be adding you to the list of reminders when Russia goes back home with their tail between their legs, just as they did from Kyiv. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Yes, as I have stated earlier. Russia has been an evil state that hasn't done anything good for the world in the last 200 years, and those who support the country is just as evil. Ukraine running out of ammo? Nope, they got all of the western arms manufacturers supplying them with superior weapons. People? Considering the rate Russia loses troops, there is a chance they will run out faster. Russians are too dumb to win a war alone (Just like their supporters on the internet.) We saw how Hitler kicked their ass so that they had to come begging the UK and US for help under WW2. If Russia sells their country to China, I guess there is a chance they can get some help there though. They sure have been begging. Ukraine outsmarted Russia and sunk their pride in the black sea with a drone and two missiles. (I guess you believe it was the weather though) Russians even dug trenches in the red forest. Now Sweden and Finland are joining NATO as well, all thanks to the great lord Putin. I guess the Russkis have to spend even more money they don't have on their military. While 20% of the country doesn't even have running water and supplies of imported foods are getting scarce. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Myths? You are a fucking retard. Russian sources? Russia has no independent media, hence it cannot be trusted. By the way, who did most of the fighting in Syria. That was Russia.
