Re: Pakistan Shot Down Two Indian Jets
Note: An Indian mig21 chased a Pakistani f16d through the kashmir border. Ground footage shows the mig21 shooting the f16d using the r73 air to air missile and making a sharp U turn. The Indian mig21 was later shot down before it could re-enter Indian side. Whether it was shot down using a SAM or an A2A missile is unclear. Anyway. Ground footage shows only two pilots/parachutes ejecting from the aircraft's. One pilot was from the Indian mig21 who was captured by Pakistani villagers as he landed on the Pakistani side of border. India moved conventional troops towards pakistan indicating ground invasion. The Indian pilot was released and handed over to indian side on 1st march. Second ejected pilot was from the twin seater f16d who also landed in Pakistani side. He was wrongly identified by Pakistani villagers to be an Indian and was beaten very badly. He is said to have passed away in a nearby hospital. The third pilot couldn't eject properly from the twin seater f16d and crashed along with the aircraft. Now finally about the video This is an Indian Mi17 helicopter that was shot down by India's own SAM system. The helicopter took off in a hurry due to skirmishes on the border with its transponder turned off. The indian automated SAM system couldn't talk to it(friend or foe) and shot it down. |
