June 5, 2024. Security sources told Amaq Agency that a martyrdom fighter arrived the day before yesterday, Monday, in the village of “Al-Atala” in the district “Al-Busayra” in the north of the governorate.

The sources added that the fighter succeeded in passing the site gate and detonated his car bomb during a training course for the militia, resulting in the death of about 15 members were killed or injured.

This is the second suicide operation targeting key militia sites in 'Deir ez-Zor' after a similar operation a few weeks ago in the town of 'Al-Shuhail' that left 23 dead and injured.
