I would really like to know why is there a need (in their mind) for making their vids Hollywood quality. Sure, it makes the scene look nice (considering the circumstances) and dramatic whatever, but to me, if the are intending these to be truly frightening, just show the raw, down & dirty, ugliness of it all instead of making it look like some high budget movie. To me personally, making the vids look professionally done like this suggests in my mind that it's all kind of like smoke and mirrors. Like everyone involved is an actor, and if they aren't happy with the way the scene is shot, someone yells "CUT!" and they keep doing the scene over and over until the get it to look the way the director intended. Keep the HD cameras, they are a big improvement over crappy camera phone quality, but just lose the special effects and the editing and just show the raw, gruesome reality of what you're doing. That sends a bigger chill down my spine than this stuff. Just my opinion. Carry on. |

I want to tell you about the scariest video I ever saw, no joke. It was from one of those porno blooper sites. It was a guy about my age and physique, losing his virginity in a bar full of laughing patrons. I cried for him (literally). I once tried to kiss a girl who I thought liked me (in high school), the next day she destroyed me in front of my "friends." I'm probably going to be alone forever. But in the off chance that ISIS comes to my door, I've got a 38,000,000 BTU gift for them, and a pleasant surprise for their charred bodies as well. Peace to the kind and loving.
