Militia Tank and BMP Destroyed in Shyrokyne, Ukraine
No clearness about Dates yet, but this Shyrokyne* region has seen heavy fighting in in 2015. Although the photo's just surfaced earlier today, and there are multiple reports of renewn hostility's as of this morning. Some History about the region All footage comes from Closed Native Russian mercenary forums and I have to manually translate everything to understand where it goes about and rip the pictures one by one trough the SourceCode of the website since they are copy protected. Some of the Exif-data and Codes lead back to Private FB pages i can't acces directly Labor intensive job There are some twisted discussions along those pictures, about how the people from this pictured unit supposedly behaved. But well worth mentioning since it gives a Creepy insight of the Ukrainian battlefield, and the darkness from Russian mercenary Fora. All translated to English but i leave some of the original Russian quotes for context. But.. Wow... Such a Goldmine for D.R. I try to make some time to grab some more footage from this Fora for as long i have acces |

You know the tank has been blown up REAL GOOD, when you see the turret laying somewhere else.

Re: Militia Tank and BMP Destroyed in Shyrokyne, Ukraine
That is what's left of a T-64. This one did not have the Bulat armor upgrade. Whatever hit it set off all the onboard ammo. The BMP-2 is an interesting vehicle. I got to see a BMP-1 and 2 inside and out years ago. Except for not having much armor, esp compared to a Bradley, it's not a bad IFV. Powerful gun system, good seating, firing ports that can actually be used. BUT...see those bulges on the back doors? That isn't armor. Those are fucking FUEL CELLS. Yeah, the Russians put the gas tanks in the back doors, meaning if they get hit and explode, everyone inside gets cooked.
