Meanwhile, in Alaska ADIZ...
On 23Dec2024, a US F-16 intercepting a Russian Tu-95 gets buzzed by a Russian Su-35. I couldn't help but notice that Russian fighter ended up right in the sights of the F-16. |

Should have shot him down, then the other Russian aircraft, and then claimed they both collided trying to do a close pass. Luckily, the F-16 was able to return with only minor damage. |

Re: Meanwhile, in Alaska ADIZ...
I doubt the pilot was shocked. I guarantee the f16 pilot knew the other jet was there. the US planes have great radars, I'm sure his targeting pod was in undetectable lock mode. Meaning his weapons system was locked onto that jet, but not with a weapons grade lock. So it couldn't hit it with a missile 8n that mode, but if he switched it on, it wouldn't have to aquire it. It has that for this reason. Because if he had weapons grade lock. The Russian pilot would know because of the incredible amount of radar pointed at him. I'm guessing he might have quite a headache from it too.

Looked like he was just saying hi lol, The inside of that plane dashboard looks liek it would benefit from a good dusting. Sounded like a female pilot too maybe he just wanted to see if she was pretty or was a beaky bird.
