Lets just imagine for a moment that a "tactical" or "battlefield" nuclear weapon is used; do you actually think that would solve anything at all? not to mention the sheer psychological trauma THE WORLD would feel at nuclear weapons being used again? Do you think for a moment just how it would destabilise the WHOLE WORLDs economy?? not to mention the usual stuff like prevailing winds possibly blowing vaporised fissile materials, aka radiation, back onto the very people who used the weapon in the first place? I can understand your sentiments; I feel the same myself. But its not a realistic or productive option. You also have to remember one thing about these creatures; they dont see death as a deterrent, they see it as an INCENTIVE, reaching the "gates of paradise" quicker.
