Re: ISRAEL & US vs IRAN Discussion Thread

All I’m gonna say is good luck to the Iranian people my lifelong friends who are Iranian have told me how they looked back at the days before the revolution and wished they were back. I hope the Iranian people are able to pull themselves clear of the last decades of ayatollah rule.

The nightmare of full scale war in the Middle East looks more likely than ever before. However Trump despite all this apparent faults seems once again to be doing what the general public want him to do.

I wonder if he will turn dick tator and try to claim a third term I guess we’ll wait and see.

I don't hate anyone in Iran. That is not why I disliked your post.

Re: ISRAEL & US vs IRAN Discussion Thread

I find it quite ironic and hypocritical that Trump is doing this after making multiple verifiable statements predicting Obama was going to do the same thing to turn his popularity around.

Now, ironically once again, he has taken action in Venezuela and Iran, two of the most oil rich countries in the world. It does not take a rocket scientist to see what is going on there. He is a businessman before all else.

Interesting too, that both countries have been allies of Russia.

Further, I always knew the "I'll end the RU/UA war in 24 hours" claim was absolute fantasy, but he has not even been able to do it in a year. He really should keep his mouth shut sometimes. But in that sense, he is behaving exactly like every other politician.

However Trump despite all this apparent faults seems once again to be doing what the general public want him to do.
I can say without researching that this is not true, but I went ahead and looked into it to be sure.

Recent polling does not support the claim that military action against Iran reflects the will of most Americans. A Reuters/Ipsos poll found that only about 27 percent of Americans approved of U.S. strikes against Iran, while approximately 43 percent disapproved, with the remainder unsure.

Another national poll showed similar results, with roughly 49 percent of Americans opposing the use of U.S. military force against Iran and only about 27 percent supporting it. A separate Quinnipiac poll found that nearly 70 percent of registered voters did not want the U.S. to take military action against Iran, while only around 18 percent favored it.

Even among Republicans and Trump voters, support is far from unanimous. In the same Reuters/Ipsos polling, about 55 percent of Republicans approved of the strikes, meaning roughly 45 percent did not approve or were unsure. Other polling conducted prior to escalation showed that a majority of Trump voters opposed deeper U.S. involvement in an Iran related conflict, with about 53 percent saying the U.S. should stay out.

Taken together, the data shows that a clear plurality, and in some cases a majority, of Americans do not want war with Iran. That includes a substantial portion of Trump’s own voter base.

But it would seen like Trump has thrown out the rule book of international war and attacked them anyway. Along with wanted war criminal Netanyahu.

It seems like the old rule book no longer exists. I dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing. Certainly it will make the likes of North Korea thankful they have the nuke now.

Re: ISRAEL & US vs IRAN Discussion Thread

Donald Trump is a convicted felon known draft dodger that was best friends with a pedophile sex trafficker for decades and he's sending soldiers to die for Israel, you think the US is the good guy in this situation?
I think we should appreciate the cunts going against each other no?

Rather have no good guy in a war like this. Just hope they man up and see it through to the end, instead of just releasing some tension.
