Five Israeli reservists in the 8207 battalion of the Alon brigade were killed on Saturday in an encounter with Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon the IDF announced on Sunday

- Major (res.) Eliav Amram Abitbol, aged 36, from Eitan, a Company Deputy Commander in the 8207th Battalion, 228th Brigade (Alon)

- Captain (res.) Rabbi Avraham Yosef Goldberg, aged 43, from Jerusalem, a Military Rabbi in the 8207th Battalion, 228th Brigade (Alon)

- Captain (res.) Amit Chayut, aged 29, from Haifa, a Platoon Commander in the 8207th Battalion, 228th Brigade (Alon)

- Master Sergeant (res.) Gilad Elmaliach, aged 30, from Jerusalem, a soldier in the 8207th Battalion, 228th Brigade (Alon)

- Sergeant Major (res.) Shaul Moyal, aged 47, from Karnei Shomron, a soldier in the 8207th Battalion, 228th Brigade (Alon)

Also on Sunday, the IDF announced the death of Staff Sgt. Malachi Yehuda Harari, 22, from Even Shmuel, who died from wounds sustained during combat operations in northern Gaza.

An IDF officer wounded during fighting in the northern Gaza Strip earlier this month succumbed to his wounds, the IDF announces.

Maj. Guy Yaacov Nezri, 25, a company commander in the 401st Armored Brigade's 52nd Battalion, from Atlit, was seriously wounded on October 19 during fighting in Jabaliya.

Nezri was wounded in the same incident in which Staff Sgt. Ofir Berkovich and Sgt. Elishai Young were killed.

The soldiers were hit by anti-tank fire, according to an IDF probe.

The Israeli Chief of Staff, Major General Herzi Halevi, toured this week with the commander of the Northern Command and the commander of Division 98 in the underground complex of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, which was destroyed at the end of the week by IDF forces.

Halevi: "From here they could go on a raid into the State of Israel. We caught it in time and these infrastructures must not be repeated here for generations."

This comes across to me as positioning to negotiate new DMZs in southern Lebanon to be owned and patrolled by IDF. Call it a land grab, but what other alternative is there when the Arabs build bunkered offensive milfacs on their side of the border? UN occupancy and patrol of Arab territories is proven to be an abject security failure for the State of Israel.

The IDF announced on Tuesday that four soldiers from the elite Multidimensional Unit, also known as the “Ghost” Unit, were killed during combat in northern Gaza earlier in the day.

All four soldiers served with the Multidimensional Unit (Unit 888). A combat officer from the same unit was seriously wounded during the incident and is receiving medical treatment.

The dead are:

Cpt. Yehonatan Joni Keren, 22, from Moledet

Staff Sgt. Nisim Meytal, 20, from Hadera

Staff Sgt. Aviv Gilboa, 21, from Neve Tzuf

Staff Sgt. Naor Haimov, 22, from Rosh Ha’ayin

The IDF has also announced the death of Master Sgt. (res.) Yedidya Bloch, 32, of the 55th Paratroopers Brigade’s 7155th Battalion, from Mevo Horon, who has succumbed to his wounds after being seriously injured on October 24th in a battle in southern Lebanon.

IDF strikes on hez assets in Lebanon and Syria continue as usual with Lebanon strike count around 180 in past day.

Vid2 shows IDF drone footage of a Hez Radwan (special forces) soldier arming a drone destined for Israel. But the IDF calls in their own drone missile hit before Radwan can launch.

IDF ground troop scour buildings, tunnels and ruins to flush out or kill remaining combatants and locate weapons caches in Gaza and Lebanon. Elsewhere, IDF ground troops, Shin Bet and border police scour Arab villages under Israel Central Command to arrest wanted combatants and confiscate weapons.

Civilian losses in Israel over the last days.

Two people were killed and seven injured on Friday after rockets fired by Hezbollah struck the northern Arab town of Majd al-Krum, as several barrages from Lebanon targeted the north.

Bus Stop attack in Tel Aviv area. A weaponized truck deliberatly crashed into a bus stop. The truck hit a group of elderly people. The driver was shot by armed civilians right inside the cabin of the truck. One 72 year old man died to his wounds. (Vid 1-6)
