Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Footage: November 2024
IDF Oct 2024 Air Strike Took Out Iranian Nuclear R&D Facility Senior American officials: Israel destroyed in an attack in Iran last month the active facility for nuclear research at the Parchin base. According to senior Israeli and American officials, although nuclear activity at the Tale'an 2 facility was stopped in 2003, during the past year an increase in the level of activity was detected as part of nuclear research at the facility, and the facility was actually reactivated secretly, for purposes that could assist in the assembly of a nuclear bomb. A senior American official said that the Iranians "carried out research activities that could form the basis for the development of nuclear missiles. It was a top secret project. A few in the Iranian government knew about it, but the absolute majority was in the dark." It is speculated that the facility in Parchin was chosen because it was not an official part of the Iranian nuclear project, and therefore the Iranians will not be able to claim that Israel attacked a nuclear facility, without acknowledging the reactivation of the facility for nuclear purposes. |
