Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VI (2024)
Now I think this is cool as hell: American boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. paid a visit to Israel this week, marking his fourth trip to the country since the October 7th invasion. During his trip, Mayweather visited Belev Echad’s rehabilitation center in Kiryat Ono, Israel, to meet with and offer his support to Israeli soldiers who were wounded during the recent conflict. Mayweather, widely regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time, retired with an undefeated record of 50-0. His 4th trip to support the injured Israel troops. Respect! |

For such a prolific poster (which I appreciate) you remind me that you're kinda dumb too. Biden and the US continue to send so so much weaponry to Israel this such an erroneous comment. Of course the US admin has to speak out when IDF takes out 20 kids along with each high value target. That's called PR. Trump leading _anything_ will be complete chaos since none of the intelligent military minds want to be anywhere around him.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VI (2024)
Its seems, there will be another retaliation for the last Israeli attack on Iran. For days you heard nothing. Also no impressive footage about the IAF strike. Everything quite silent about it. No one boasting about anything. Perfectly for Iran get out of the escalation spriral. So, why Iran is going for another round? After days passed, some facts surfaced. It seems likely, that IAF was going for 3 main target complexes: 1. Iranian made, stationary IRGC radar sites and Russian supplied S300 radar complexes. 2. Iranian drones / missiles: Ammo and fuel stockpiles, manufacturing plants, rocket fuel plants. 3. An important element of the Iranian nuclear project, which itself... per definition... is no nuclear site at all. Most of these targets were out of populated areas. Iran is a huge country with lots off empty space and you won't find this stuff downtown Teheran. This explains the lack of cellphone vids. Additionally IRGC threatened everyone with severe consequences, in case footage might be shared. All this silence is surprising, since 100 combat jets were involved in this operation. In three waves. Supported by even more planes like tankers and long range stealth drones. If we exclude World War 2, this should be one of the largest air operations of the last decades. Two photos from Teheran area from the night of the attack. There's not much floating around the web. Also see the vids. Bit AA gunfire to boast morale, some explosions @arab TV. Thats it. No mission without Israel's secret weapon: Female IAF personnel took part. Main weapon to reach targets inside Iran were newly developed, Israeli made IS02 'Rocks'. Air launched long range ballistic missiles. They were typically launched from F-15 strike jets. There is no footage aviable, all shown planes from this op just seem to be jets with air to air armaments and drop tanks. This is a press photo of an IS02 during development phase (F-16 in this case). Pic stolen from a German blog. Unfortnately can't find the links anymore. The three waves. Since Jordan and Saudi Arabia chickened out, the strike was done via Lebanon, Syria and Iraq. Wave 1+2 suppressed all air defenses along the way, including Iranian positions. The 3rd wave went for the target complexes inside Iran. Over Iraq was alot air refueling. Its also said the 'Rocks' ballistic missiles were fired from Iraqi air space as well. Also stolen from this blog. Said to be a photo showing returning IAF formations. I'm not sure whether these delta winged silhouettes are actually F-16, but I'm no expert the the image quality is low. The encircled objects seem to be completly newly deveoloped stealth drones. They don't even have an official designation yet. Beside that ofc F-35 stealth fighters took part. These stationary, phased IRGC radar arrays 'Ghadir' were all destroyed. It was claimed they were able to detect stealth jets. They had a range of 1100km. Israeli press also claims that all four Iranian S-300 radar systems were destroyed. One was already knocked off during IAF's last attack. An S-300 consists of several launchers around one radar unit. When you kill off the radar complex, the whole battery is out of action. It takes ages to produce these radar systems and Russia likely needs all remaining ones for its own little war. The promised S-400 systems still not have yet arrived from Russia. With these elements gone, Iran indeed seems to have lost its air defense and is blinded. Iranian missiles production (and fuel plants). Prime examples: Attack on the Khojhir rocket engine plant and Parchim. Parchin military base, rocket fuel plant. Other sites, which I can't localize Taleghan Flash X-ray imaging site. Super important tool for nuclear warhead construction. Flash X-ray imaging is used to capture any explosion process in detail. Its impossible to construct Plutionium bombs without precise studies of the implosion process, which has to be triggered with conventional explosives. This would finally set off the nuclear reaction. Without this high tech thing you probably need to go for a crude uranium design. And it won't be possible to replace it easily. Also questionable whether Iran is enriching Uranium or went the Plutionium way. I don't know. I guess the latter one. I guess when 100 jets carry two ordnance pieces for air to ground attacks, alot targets like this were hit and destroyed. This might be the reason the Mullahs want to respond. Vids: Feelgood AA fire over teheran, likely meaningless. Smoke. Explosions from arab TV etc. Before after monatage...guess its Parchim military complex. There's not much leaked, especially if compared to the Iranian missile strike on Israel, which looked more like a carpet bombing. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VI (2024)
Seems really weird because when i look at the picture marked Parchin military base, rocket fuel plant. before and after the after pictures look like they are actually pictures from when the plant was being built. those concrete lorries and piles of stone dont strike me as the sort of stuff you would see after a place was blown up... what do i know.

Either this or its already recovery and reconstruction work. The strike was days ago, enough time for this to happen if the sat image was delayed.

So it starts. The new corridor is currently beeing plowed. Heavy fighting in North Gaza is probably coming to a halt. The north of the strip will be cut off . Fortifications and a new military road will be build (green). |
