Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Footage: 6-10 January 2024
Vid 1-4: Hamas vid release: An IED was detonated in Jenin (Westbank). Target was a Mrap of the Border Police with four Police officers inside. One fatal casualty, another one is seriously injured and 2 were lightly wounded. It seems terrorists controlled the ambush site long enough to loot personal belongings of the fallen officer. Police Sgt Shay Germay was killed. During the ensuing fight an attack chopper took out a group of Hamas militants. Palestinians later took over the site, after Police units left the scene, inpected left behind equipment and photographed remains of the Mrap. Vid5: Another incident at a checkpoint near Jerusalem. A car was weaponized and rolled into a group of Police officers. No casualties, no seriously wounded. All terrorists inside the car were killed. Vid6: Demonstrators protesting against the war getting removed in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv..dunno. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Footage: 6-10 January 2024
Gaza. New chart showing the current status of Hamas leadership. IDF releases a recent Photo of Mohammed Deif, Hamas military leader. So far all photos of him were kind of old. Prisoners (might be also Westbank footage in between). ![]() ![]() Today: IDF declares Gaza City as taken. At least the surface. There will be probably still pockets of resistance in tunnels, ambushes etc. IDF soldiers inside the house of Yahya Sinwar, Hamas leader inside Gaza Strip. Vid1: Another Hamas release. They claim these 4 hostages where killed by IDF strikes, somewhere inside the Gaza Strip. As usual they already prepared videos with all hostages and use them if needed or wanted. Similar to the Noa Marciano vid. Vid2: Appeared in arab channels. IDF soldier inside a Gaza home smashing a picture showing the Dome of the Rock (Temple Mount). Arabs hate it. Vid3+4: A massive tunnel + city neighbourhood demolition. Its kind of special, cause this is supposed to be in Khan Yunis. Now it starts there as well. 2nd one shows also the preparation and the aftermath. Alot pioneer vehicles to flatten everything. Unfortnately the music spoils every attempt to use a translator. Vid5: A combat pioneer unit made a compilation of detonations. Vid6: 155mm artillery barrage going down, somewhere in the Strip. Vid7+8: Another neighbourhood gone. Seems combat is over in Gaza City and Khan Yunis. They just raze everything down. Making a party about it. Sisha, drinking....arab channels don't like this as well^^ |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Footage: 6-10 January 2024
Our favorite "reporter" Mr. FAFO took a hit close to home as one of his reporter friends was in a targeted car. Somehow FAFO go hit, or maybe he was just stricken with grief because there is a hospital shot. I hope the dude makes it for real The guy in the blue was the one blown up in the car and Mr FAFO is transporting the pieces left of him in the blue plastic bag. But here are scenes of them hanging out together. I also think they did bunch of hanging out in Shiefa Hospital earlier in the war |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Footage: 6-10 January 2024
Vid1-3: Hamas militants getting taken out by IDF special forces in Tulkarim, Westbank. 3 cam angles. Vid4:Prisoners in Gaza. First they chant anti Hamas slogans x3 (May god take revenge on hamas) and 'Hamas destroyed us'. Then this old man starts to talk. That they had to live 17 years under Hamas. No one wanted Hamas. No food, no education etc. They waited 17 years for something to change. That they are all peacefully living there. So quite a bit whitewashing. One IDF soldier ask whose fault it is: They answer Hamas' fault... Vid5: Westbank, Hamas militants shooting. No infos where it is, maybe Tulkarim... Vid6: Street scene Al-Bireh, Westbank. IDF squad. Vid7: Westbank, one more prisoner. Vid8: Mosque in Gaza getting destroyed. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Footage: 6-10 January 2024
Some stuff from social media. Was looking there for footage. Seems to be a growing trend to tag ruins in Gaza with dedications to fallen ones (mostly IDF comrades and friends). Often at the most apocalyptic looking places. Vid1-2: Too bad I can't read it. Translators won't work :( But looks like this IDF soldier isn't really supposed to be in Gaza, with that 1980ties style flak jacket instead of a ceramic plate carrier. These were usually issued to 2nd line support troops. The scenery looks great, for sure. Vid3: Next one is more straight forward. In remembrance of operations Sgt. Osher Barzilay. Some tagged ruins and even detonated a building for her ('For a long time I thought about how to comemorate you in a special way....'). Since the whole Gaza theatre is rather small scale, it often relates to the same few places with high IDF losses from Oct 7th. Osher B., Northern Division, was on duty inside the Nahal Oz HQ, where she supposedly burned to ashes. Vid4: 'In remembrance to you, my beauty'. Was linked to a remembrance account for Cpl Hadar Cohen. Also got her own detonated building. Another soldier, who was killed at the same Base as mentioned above. Wrote something to this in the last thread. https://www.documentingreality.com/f...7/#post8144029 https://www.documentingreality.com/f...7/#post8144222 While checking the name I also found an israeli TV doc on youtube about her father, who was visiting the base where she was killed. Looks like the relatives were allowed to remember the fallen ones there. At the places where they died. So Hadar got a soul candle lit inside this death trap of a bomb shelter. They even seemed to have patched up the the battle damage for this visit. Compare it with the linked footage, you'll find the spot where a hand granade explosion carved out bit of the concrete. They didn't remove this jihadist tag, though. Whatever it says. Vid5: Also showed a few seconds of her final moments under mortar shelling (no sound). Probably taken from a farewell call. To lazy to remove the subtitles, its just a snippet anyways. But she looks extremly concerned :( Vid6: Also Nahal Oz / hostage related. The 'bring them back' initiative released some old October 7th footage which alot ppl missed, cause it just appeared shortly on Telegram. You probably remember the censored vids where the surviving soldiers were lined up on the bunker wall. For four they showed the uncensored footage. Just a short part, but ...they look totally devastated, shell shocked, sad, concerned, crying ... all at once. Also wounded, probably from grenade explosions / fragmentation. They just watched or even still watch their friends to die on the opposite side of the shelter. You can match this up with vids in the threads I linked above. Like Liri Albag (the light bluish one) even still kind of joking (supposedly, looks like it), then after.... Karina Ariev appears to be without appropriate clothing in one of the vids (6:30am alert...), so they wrapped this white bed sheet around her?? Daniela Gilboa (dark blue) crying. Agam Berger (olive shirt) looking in disbelief. I guess 'bring them back' again made the public to focus on the hostages... These female IDF captives will cause alot headache to Israeli officials. It will be very hard to write them off, probably even impossible. For a brief moment this shelter was the most important place of the whole operation, they should have protected these intel girls better... At the end Hamas seized the most valuable hostages they ever had. |

Source - "Hamas opens fire on Palestinians trying to evacuate, forcing them to go back to areas being bombed and act as human shields." I cant really tell who takes the shot but it sounds like an SVD and stopping an evacuation only helps one side. We have been seeing it all war. War is hell |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Footage: 6-10 January 2024
Only Hamas benefits from videos of dead civilians. How will they get get their videos of dead children to get the students at Harvard and Yale all worked up if Palestinian women and children are allowed to go to the safety of israeli troops to get food, shelter, clothes and a place to worship their false god without fear.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Footage: 6-10 January 2024
Source - "POV of Israeli police special forces (YAMAS) of the ambush on Hamas militants" Vid 2 is edit of all the different views of the ambush Wrong place, wrong time for HAMAS and friends to be running. Look like they had a nice M16 or M4 though EDIT - International Media went NUTS today about this incident. Not because a bunch of HAMAS got smoked, but rather when the IDF was pulling their vehicles through, they ran over the body laying in the middle of the street. I guess the world expects soldiers to move a body in the middle of an active warzone at night. People are insane |
