Here is a video of the massive water pumps, and quite a few of them, to start the flooding operations. I cant imagine what else they would be used for, its not like Israel is fighting fires with 2 foot diameter hoses and even larger source pipes. Camera pans quickly just to make sure there is a glimpse of how close this operation is to the Mediterranean sea.

Interested to see more footage down the line

definitely not 24" piping, but I sure as heck wish it was! Hell, i wish they had 72" diameter pipes ran everywhere, let's get this task moving along!

Haha, it would look like a wave pool at Disneyworld, lots of water moving. I do wonder what it would take to run that to other tunnel systems more inland. I guess just more hoses or hardline pipes

I really like the idea of flooding the tunnels and using the foam to seal them off. Can't really say IDF is violent if they're just helping fill up the tunnels with something to keep small children from falling in them on accident and getting injured

They shoulda used The Dead Sea to pump their sea water into those Hamas tunnels; an anomaly in nature of a sea so high in salt content literally nothing can live in it, not even bacteria. It would be a nice, poetic, symbolic irony, pumping The Dead Sea into a place where Hamas and its terror infrastructure, politicians and militant wings will eventually be just that - DEAD

I think just generic sea water will be ok because even when it leeches out, it'll be so wet down there mold will be everywhere and make you sick if you go in the tunnels in the future, potentially for a few years at least.
