Al Jazeera condemns killing of journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh’s family in Gaza
Media network condemns ‘indiscriminate assault’ by Israeli forces.

The Al Jazeera Media Network extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to our colleague Wael Al-Dahdouh on the loss of his family in an Israeli airstrike.

The indiscriminate assault by the Israeli Occupation forces resulted in the tragic loss of his wife, son, and daughter, while the rest of his family is buried under the rubble.

Their home was targeted in the Nuseirat camp in the centre of Gaza, where they had sought refuge after being displaced by the initial bombardment in their neighborhood, following Prime Minister Netanyahu’s call for all civilians to move south.

Al Jazeera is deeply concerned about the safety, and well-being of our colleagues in Gaza and hold the Israeli authorities responsible for their security.

The Network strongly condemns the indiscriminate targeting and killing of innocent civilians in Gaza, which has led to the loss of Wael Al-Dahdouh’s family and countless others.

We urge the international community to intervene and put an end to these attacks on civilians, thereby safeguarding innocent lives.

Back to Oct 7th. Israeli TV made a sad doc, where two soldiers of the Nahal Oz base give account about what happened there. These two were the only ones of that particular observation unit, which managed to escape the massacre and are back home. Translators always have issues with spoken hebrew, so just one name transforms well in latin letters.

The main account ist from Yael Rotenberg, and it finally reveals where one of the most viral videos of the Black Sabbath morning is originating too. Since it was broadcasted @TV and is aviable for streaming, telling Names is probably ok.

I'm referring to this vid, which was released by Al-Quassem Brigades, showing supposedly captured females in Gaza City. Which obviosly wasn't correct. It rather shows the rocket shelter on the Nahal Oz base after the morning rocket alert. Thats why all but one wear incomplete civilian clothes instead of IDF camo. They just rushed from their beds into this shelter. You notice the panic while under mortar or rocket fire. They say shrapnels were everywhere and they couldn't move anywhere.

They clearly prove that she was indeed inside this shelter among others.

Thats the place. When you know what place it is, you'll also find some additional stuff on social media.

One of the last pics from there, probably shortly before many of them got killed. The terrorists used grenades and assault rifles to storm the shelter from the left entrance. Several escaped through the right bunker access, but got mostly hunted down later. Just Yael Rotenberg managed to hide until the relieve force arrived. This makes her the only one, which returned home from this shelter of doom. The other soldier in this doc tells what happened in their main control room, she was on duty as the raid happened.

Hamas footage of that is aviable as well and probably known to everyone, its obviously the same place ofter it got stormed. Looks like they took 6 hostages, at least I hope they're lined up to be taken in.

This main channel is forever silent now. Last upload was at Oct 6th. The night before the attack. About a "last sabbath" party for one of the women, which was going to be discharged of service. Turned out it became a complete different meaning :(

You'll also find alot related accounts posting remembrance and farewell vids.

There are also some infos what their service life was. Obviously watching displays 24/7. Which is probably the explanation why they were mostly unarmed. Despite they're just 500m away from a hot border, they had no guns issued, except for some higher ranks.

Finally you can identify alot of them via Tiktok vids. Which is especially sad, this even goes as far as watching vids of their funerals. Wouldn't even wounder if this kind of tiktok activity made them a prime target, since everyone can watch that...

Like this one. You can easily recognise her in the bunker vid, 19 yo girl which made nice guitar songs. Dunno tiktok and stuff should be banned for all active troops imho. And why a bunch of females without guns sitting right next to the border fence is just totally weird. If I got it right (alot infos from related persons in comment sections), over 30 females from that Nahal Oz base lost their lives. Also from other branches like the base hospital etc.

The IDF distributed leaflets this morning in Gaza with instructions to the terrorists on how to surrender in order to save themselves from death:

"The terrorist organization Hamas has committed the most terrible crimes against humanity - a massacre against innocent people. Rape of women and kidnapping of children, elderly and families of all religions and backgrounds - Jews, Christians, Muslims and foreigners. Hamas actions contradict the Muslim religion. Hamas = ISIS.'

1. Be disarmed
2. Raise your hands
3. If you can, wave a white sign (or flag).
4. Act according to additional instructions from the IDF.
5. There is no need to bring food and water with you. The IDF will take care of that.

This means Israel are in the hospital, and confirmed every gas station and supermarket.
