Imagine. Israel manages to fly an F35 into your capital, on your inauguration day, drops a bomb one of your BFFs, and the plane makes it back safe. Sends a clear message that they can kill anyone at any time. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Footage: 16-31 July 2024
It was a guesthouse of the IRRGC. The PIJ leaders were inside the same building, one level above Ismail Haniye and his entourage. Some well informed channels suggest it was an assasination. Means Mossad operatives killed him. I guess there was no air strike. Otherwise alot foreign guests from that ceremony in Teheran would have been dead as well. But just he and his bodyguards died. Lets wait for more details. Maybe it was a small missile, we'll see.

Thanks for the clarification! I'd read reports it was an airstrike. Pretty ballsy regardless, and sends a significant message. They can get anyone in Iran; some people just aren't worth the ensuing headache. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Footage: 16-31 July 2024
Israeli military have a history of performing daring feats. The nuclear power plant in Iraq was destroyed with F16s stripped to the bare minimum so they could fly there and back low to the ground, this was done with precise timing so the French engineers working on the plant were not harmed. Daring nighttime hostage recues in Uganda before they had nightvision and had to land the big cargo planes with risk of a not light landing, assassination of Iran nuclear scientist in broad daylight with machine gun popping out of car trunk (that was a mossad agent after finishing Breaking Bad and called his boss "hey, I got an idea"). Anyways, history shows Israeli enginuiety and daring should never be underestimated by their opponents. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Footage: 16-31 July 2024
I am hoping some concrete info comes out and I am sure it will. But Iran said it came from the Air but someone within Hezbollah said it was not an air attack...so, we will see. But some sources are also saying "Israel’s Channel 12 later reported that Iranian officials were coming to the conclusion that the projectile was actually fired from within the country’s borders"...which is nuts Either way, big blow to HAMAS, and I am sure the only one happy from HAMAS is Sinwar, as I have read that Sinwar didnt see eye to eye with Ismail Haniyeh since Haniyeh was not on the ground in Gaza. Now there is only Sinwar so we will see if HAMAS tactics change...we could start seeing suicide bombings, intifada style since Sinwar is way more ruthless |
