I'm actually really confused by this "attack". I have been trying to gather information since last night.

-American media, including CNN and Fox News, report that Israel has carried out a 'limited strike' inside Iran

Tonight, 3 small drones, possibly launched from inside Iran, were shot down by air defenses above Isfahan, according to preliminary information.

No airstrike or explosion caused by any foreign aerial threat has been reported, according to IRNA, and missile defenses have not been activated.

All military and security installations in Isfahan province remain secure, including the Natanz nuclear reactor.

So, Israel's 'retaliation' consisted of launching 3 explosive-laden quadcopters from inside Iran, it seems for now.

Or in the best case scenario, several small 'harpy' drones launched from Israel.

Thats it. Iran seems to refuse that something happened at all. No statement from Israel. Even Israeli related twitter channels have no infos. Just some rumors that a few small drones launched from inside Iran. Pretty weak after one side started this with over hundret ballistic missiles and 200 drones + cruise missiles. I assume Israel really made a deal with Biden to get free reign in Gaza.

Thats all whats new in Israeli related channels:

Vid6: Chaotic arrest of another terror suspect in Old-Jerusalem.

Vid7: Female border observers from 869th Battalion identified terrorists at Aita al-Sha'ab. Directed an air strike on that structure.

Vid8: Bit Israeli propaganda. Short doc about female border police (Magav) officers. They seem to use their cute female IDF and police personnel for max effect...

The Iranian consulate is intact, also from the inside and is still used. The consul and his family as well as any employee of the consulate weren't hurt.

They didn't really attack the Iranian consulate. Just the building next to it with a precision strike. It was used as IRGC Terror HQ. Oct 7th was planned there. As the chief strategist of Al Aqsa flood arrived there from Iran, they took him out along with his staff.

Technically Syria and Israel are still at war. After Syria attacked the jewish state in 1948, there never has been a formal peace treaty. So IAF can bomb what they want and use Syrian air space without violating any international convention. The building next to the consulate is no exception.

Also keep in mind that consulates (its no embassy, ppl tend to mix this up) are no foreign sovereign space. So they could have flattened everything anyways...
