Winter is coming, northern Israel.

This leads to the last topic: Obviously low morale of the (supposedly) 595th 'Ait' Field Intelligence Battalion. To be more precise a subunit of female border lookouts responsible for survilance of the Northern Sector. Obviously their residence / base was attacked by Hisbullah ATGMs at the beginning of the conflict and they got relocated into a field camp. Living in tents under semi-field conditions since 3 months. They asked their parents for help, who notified the press. That's is where I picked this up.

Vid3: Sleeping tent incl. snowflakes^^ No privacy. They claim they're all freezing since weeks and now its getting worse.

Vid4: Washing room. No roof. Dirty. No warm water. Looks a bit like its for watering livestock^^

Vid5: Showers. No warm water, as mentioned. Doesn't look ladylike.

Well, first I was like laughing. Cause when I remember my time its still far better than living in a one man tent, camp fire and sh*t in a hole in the ground for weeks. But well, its obviously more. They're also depressed cause of the massacre of their colleages of the 414th at the Gaza border (lost friends) and fear it could happen to them as well. They're still all totally untrained and unarmed. No guards or at least not many. The rocket shelter is too small for all. Bad equipment of their situation room. No office-like chairs etc. Wounder if they might be on strike soon ....

Always take it with a grain of salt. Might be made up. But, seriously, IDF officers are often too careless, thats definetly true. One of the most extensive Gaza remembrance vids I've seen so far. After I stumbled over one of these on Telegram, I crosschecked and found the other two parts @social media.

The text doesn't make alot sense to me, hard to translate. First text line unclear. Then: we'll make sure to avenge your blood, Ofiri.

Vid3: Hard to translate. Engine noise and two voices...
Radio chatter at the beginning: ' He seems paralyzed on the ground now. You didn't kill him. (?? maybe from a field observer reporting back the results from the last shot?).

Sad is that they later found maps and intel documents with the terrorists, which indicated that their target was the Urim SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) base. They somehow fucked up, took the wrong turn and breached into the Home Defense Base, kind of a logistics base / depot. Total overkill.

Some of the words etc. let it look like he's somehow related to the victim. A relative? Dunno, sounds personal. To bad there are so few hebrew speakers around...
