Jabalya is in the north of the territory formerly known as Gaza. Nice to see Israel fly their colors throughout their nation. Maybe UN/Euro/US will allow Israel to keep their land this time. On the other hand, maybe it is time for the US to transfer title of CA, AR, NM and TX to the cartels, so all of the immigrants can finally live with familiar leadership who speak their language, etc. We can call it the State of Mexastine. The US will still need to provide room and board to the Mexastinians, maybe free internet and cell phones too, but otherwise they should be free to self-rule.  · |

It just occurred to me that when Israel raises a flag in Gaza they might be marking the spot for future jewish settlers. It's just like old times again when the arab countries and Palestinians would attack Israel unprovoked and then lose more and more land that Israel would annex as they pushed the enemy back further and further   |

Israeli hostages Haim Peri, Yoram Metzger, Amiram Koper and Nadav Poplewell declared dead. There are no bodies, yet. Its based on undeniable intelligence obtained in current operations within Gaza.  All of them were shown by Hamas in a hostage videos, couple of weeks ago. They appeared to be well. They most likely got executed as IDF closed in to their position and they couldn't evacuate them. Similar fate as Noa Marciano, who was under treatment in Al Shifa hospital, as IDF surrounded the area. They had no mercy killing a 19 yo girl, and surely wouldn't hesitate with 4 old men.   Edit: Next hostage declared dead. Paramedic Dolev *****'s remains were located and identified near Nahal Oz, where he was likely killed already on Oct 7th. He went out to assist wounded citizen and never came back. All believed him to be a hostage in Gaza.  |

Also, it's you who is delusional along with anyone who still think Hamas still has a chance in this military conflict. The defeated does not get to dictate terms. I understand your point, but it makes me sick that hostage trading is considered an accepted (even respectable) diplomatic function. It is barbaric and only creates future hostage taking. If the "world order" assemblies had ethics, then hostage trading would have been banned as a war crime long ago.

Agree. To take that further, if Israel is smart, they will continue this war until all three Arab territories within their nation (Gaza, Golan, W Bank) are sterilized, and never allow Arabs to establish a police presence in Israel again. Wherever future refugee camps are established in Israel, they should be under martial law and not be located near any national border.
