Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread IV (2024)
Israel sure won't let their guard down again with things like inept female border guards who probably spent all day posting duck-billed selfies to their social media, watching Netflix movies, eating treats and delicacies from home, and playing with themselves (or each other). Hamas had their ONE chance that comes once in a generation and they blew it with their weak sauce short-term ambitions. Now they (and the palestinians) spend the rest of the decade (and beyond) reaping what they sowed. The piggies in Qatar continue to eat caviar |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread IV (2024)
The IDF eats honey and have a morale so high I'm surprised they're not all breaking out into surreal song and dance like in a Dennis Potter production... Hamas continues to live in holes in the ground, desperately wishing to take any deal they can get to stop the slaughter... Fat cats in Qatar get fatter. That's just the way it goes, you know.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread IV (2024)
I guess the problem was more that they transferred all combat rgt's away from the border into the Westbank to protect settlers. It seems they expected something big there to happen, which actually didn't. We'll never know what happened there, but I guess kind of an intelligence ruse by Iran/Hamas etc. The border guards worked as intended, they spotted the raid. As they wanted to go by their trained script to lead own forces towards them, they realized there were none. Not on the ground, not in the air. The guards themselves were non-combat troops and couldn't fight. Rest is history, they just walked into south Israel. For other reasons Tiktok should be banned for all IDF personnel, thats for sure. As well as Instagram^^ ____________________________________ Kerem Shalom border crossing still blocked. Even with a permanent camp now. Hundrets of UN trucks stuck in traffic jams. First evacuation leaflets dropped by IAF over Rafah. Hostage deal still hanging in the air, with latest Hamas demands pretty much inacceptable for Israel. Hamas rejected the negotiated Paris agreement yesterday and escalated their demands. I've got the feeling...somhow...that Israel might go for a deal. They just can't cope witht he hostage situation (yesterday 32 hostages of the 120 remaining ones declared dead). |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread IV (2024)
US and other countries permanently try to slow down IDF, cause of humanitarian stuff. Hostage issues as well, which caused a ceasefire. Seems like Israel is seriously preparing a push into Rafah, the last city controlled by Hamas. Its said to be IDF tansfering troops towards the Egyptian border near Rafah. Israeli prime minister issued an order to go for it, after the Hamas rejected the Paris hostage deal and escalated their demands. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread IV (2024)
If the IDF really wanted to bring this war to a quicker conclusion they should kick up a notch their humiliation game. Imagine how steamed HAMAS got when they saw jews and the IDF partying in their tunnels? I'm sure it resulted in a shit-load of pally hot-heads rushing blindly to kill these jewish dogs for desecrating their tunnels, and they got shot down like turkeys. I was thinking if Israel really wants to get quick results, they should make a Hollywood-quality feature length comedy featuring Muhammad as the buffoonish leader of early Islam, similar to Life of Brian but even the Python boys didn't dare do it about Jesus. I propose this accomplished entertainer (see below) in the starring role of Muhammad who would make a great, high-energy and hilarious prophet (just the beard would make you roar, I'm sure). After seeing this, the Palestinians and arabs en masse from all over the region would just rush out from their holes in blind, reckless fury to their slaughter and no more hit & run stealth terrorist tactics. Result: quick end to the conflict with HAMAS aaaand PROFIT! |
