Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread IV (2024)
You would think after the horrors of ww2 the last people on earth you would see bombing the fuck out of civilians and building walls around countries to keep the population down would be the jewish. It is so hard to support the continued bombing of gaza when its ""innocent"" civilians being killed.. But. everytime I think this I cast my mind back to october 7th and those same innocent civilians dancing in the street and kicking and punching the jewish people they had captured. 2 wrongs dont make a right but if you fuck around then you find out the dog you kicked bites you you only have yourself to blame. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread IV (2024)
I can show you like 1000 photos of walls or fences built to secure borders. Its the most common thing that one country's borders are somehow secured. Israel did nothing different than others. Beside the walls were 3-4 border crossings active where all kinds of supplies were delivered. Israel even supplied water and electricity for free before Oct 7th. But yea, lets just start with this one. The border + wall combo is one of the oldest concepts in history. Dunno why Palestians make such a fuss about it^^ Same for the bombings. When the enemy is holding a city, you're gonna attack it. Show me one war where this was handled differently. There's just one way to prevent this: Not to fight, declare a 'open' city and pull out all troops. Like Rome 1944 or Paris 1940. What else would be an option? Let the attacker unharmed just because he retreated into a city? |

The amount of people who would also rejoice at their oppressors being killed but are pretending they wouldn’t is too damn high. Keep licking natanyahu’s balls |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread IV (2024)
Your understanding is backwards, after the horrors of WW2 the jews of israel became what they are today as a reaction and to protect themselves in the future. Additionally there were already many jews in the region as a reaction to the pogroms of the 19th and early 20th centuries. The current Palestinian hatred of the jews there is based on them hating refugee immigrants and trying to Make Arabia Great Again. Which it hadnt been for a long time due to Turkish ISLAMIC conquest that they were ok with cause muslim butt buddies.
