Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread III (2023)

These were all “defensive stances” were they?

October 3rd. When 1040 Israeli settlers raided al aqsa mosque and beat up palestinians.

Do you seriously want to get into a rap-sheet measuring contest comparing the actions of the IDF to a literal terrorist organization?

I’m not going to take the time to read the backstory on every one of those events, but I’d bet everything I own that the VAST majority of them start with “Muslim attacks Jews, so…

The following is FACT, and something you need to come to terms with if you’re going to continue to support the Islamist terrorist side in this battle:

The Jews were there for over 2,500 years before Muhammad was even born. From then on, the land changed hands dozens of times, several before the Islamists decided to get into the fray- The land we call Palestine has more rightful claim by the Italians than it does any Muslim.

Once the Islamists took it, it STILL went back and forth several times.

In the modern era, starting in, say, the 20th century, the area was populated with BOTH Muslims and Jews, and roughly in population placements to match the current lines between Israel and Palestine.

When those lines were codified, for right or for wrong, and set down on the modern world map, the Islamists didn’t even wait two hours (TWO FUCKING HOURS!) before they attacked Israel and tried to wipe it off the map.

Since the end of that first modern war, as soon as the Muslims finished licking their wounds, they’ve continued their mission to destroy Israel. It’s in their governmental charter, for crying out loud.

I have zero doubt that the Israeli government has moments of heavy-handedness, but they are on their own native soil and surrounded by aggressors who are actively trying to destroy them- and few eggs are bound to get broken.

And, if the Marxist sympathizers want to cry about it, it would be good for them to remember: that there is ANY Palestinian territory left, at all, is due to soft generosity on the part of the Israelis.

The Muslims took the land that they call their own from the Israelites. History played out, the land changed hands several times, and ended up with the Jews and Muslims living in close proximity. This last time that the Muslims tried (and failed), or the time before that… or the time before that, the Israelis didn’t have to give the Palestinians jack-shit and, if they were playing by the same rules as the Islamists, there would be no Palestine. It would have all become Israel 75 years ago.

So, if you want to shack up with the alahus at the snack bar, you should go to Gaza, but don’t forget to thank Israel for letting your brothers continue to live there.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread III (2023)

This article was posted by an Israeli center right publication about 4 years ago...

https://www.jpost.com/arab-israeli-c...divided-583082

This one was posted by a center/independent Israeli publication on October 8th...

https://www.timesofisrael.com/for-ye...-in-our-faces/

Here is one more from an Israeli conservative publication...

I won't give my opinions, that is for anyone to decide on their own. I just posted this because I rarely hear anyone discussing this on either side.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread III (2023)

It will be so funny (and so poetically ironic) when the day comes that the last of the vermin known as Hamas has been eradicated from the West Bank & Gaza Strip (and anywhere else in Israel) and Israel announces, "You're right, world! Enough is enough! We'd like to officially announce a CEASE FIRE!" I'd like to see the faces of the Hamas leaders living in luxury abroad when that happens... and I'd LOVE to see their faces when Israel sends assassins to them that say, "The Israelis send their regards."

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread III (2023)

Dont understand why people take sides when they dont understand whats true or not. These videos depict violence but they dont truly give the reasons why its happening. The reasons to me are obscured and theres too many holes to this start of a war.

Why did Israel let itself get attacked in the first place and how? Why was there a nationwide alert test in usa/russia 2 or 3 days before the actual attack? None of it makes any sense. The people who dont question this stuff will all fall into the medias hands. This shit aint a coincidence.

Edit: I know this is a footage thread but I had to chime in because people are way too brainwashed and essentially dont question anything. They grab at whatever they think is right based on the information provided. Its truly insane how the media can manipulate you but if thats usually the case then you've already never really questioned anything in life other than your own little bubble.
2 or 3 days before the Hamas attack conducting alert test in the U.S and russia has nothing to do with the Hamas/Isr. war imo as that borders conspiracy thinking ( I luv a good conspiracy though) and you can find always things that are a coincidence or not before a major event somewhere in the world.

Russia will conduct a nationwide test of its emergency public warning systems on Wednesday, blaring out sirens and interrupting television broadcasts to warn the population of an impending danger.

The test, first conducted in 2020, is part of a new initiative that requires authorities to conduct tests twice a year, starting from 1 September.

It comes, though, amid the war in Ukraine which has triggered the deepest crisis in Russia's relations with the West since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.

At 10:43am Moscow time (0743 GMT), sirens will wail and stern announcements demanding "Attention everyone!" will alert the public, mimicking what would happen in a true disaster or catastrophe.

"When you hear the sound of a siren, you need to remain calm and not panic, turn on the TV - any publicly accessible channel or radio - and listen to the information message," the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.

"The warning system is designed to timely convey a signal to the population in the event of a threat or emergency of a natural or man-made nature."

The United States is also conducting a large-scale test of its public warning systems on Wednesday, via US mobile phones and TV and radio stations.

The purpose of the U.S. test is to ensure that the systems "continue to be effective in alerting the public to emergencies, particularly at the national level", the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, said in a press release.

Many other countries have also conducted alert system tests for crises and disasters in recent years.

The Russian test falls on the 91st anniversary of the creation of Russia's civil defence system and follows nationwide educational drills in August on practising actions and procedures in emergency situations.

The goal of Russia's tests is to assess the warning systems, and the readiness of personnel responsible for launching them and raise public awareness, the emergency ministry said.
U.S.
The WEA portion of the test will be directed to consumer cell phones. This will be the third nationwide test, but the second test to all WEA-compatible cellular devices. The test message will display in either English or in Spanish, depending on the language settings of the wireless handset.

The EAS portion of the test will be sent to radios and televisions. This will be the seventh nationwide EAS test.

FEMA and the FCC are coordinating with EAS participants, wireless providers, emergency managers and other stakeholders in preparation for this national test to minimize confusion and maximize the public safety value of the test.

The purpose of the test is to ensure that the systems continue to be effective means of warning the public about emergencies, particularly those on the national level. In case the Oct. 4 test is postponed, due to widespread severe weather or other significant events, the back-up testing date is Oct. 11.
Coincidence the weather was good and for russia because that date has a meaning and not what eventually can happen 2 or 3 days later in some other part of the world iyam.

About the fail part of not noticing the attack:
https://www.timesofisrael.com/egypt-...something-big/
Hamas went back to the stone age and didn't use phones, comps when it came to planning and training. Training they always did on a regular basis so that was nothing new. Netanyahu, Mr. Security, failed to see the danger, maybe because he thought Hamas wasn't that big and organized and maybe he focussed more on Hezbollah and Iran. That's why he probably has to go after the war is over just like Golda Meier in the past.
https://theintercept.com/2023/10/14/...om-kippur-war/

Observers say that Israel had concentrated troops in the West Bank and further north in anticipation of a flare-up of violence there, rather than near the southern border with Gaza. They note the current hard-right Israeli government’s push to overhaul the supreme court, drawing months of fierce protests from citizens, including army reservists, also may have been perceived as weakness by Hamas.

Former CIA officer on the Middle East, Bob Baer told that neither the U.S. nor Israel have good intelligence on Hamas and its plans.

“They’re not up on cell phones. There’s no **** data on these people. So, this has become a very disciplined organization," Baer said. "The Israelis don’t have any good human sources inside Gaza. Otherwise, they would have found out about this. It’s really, very much a black hole for the Israelis.
IDF Balloons Monitoring Israel-Gaza Border Broke Down Weeks Before Hamas Attack.

The Israeli army failed to fix the border monitoring technology; it is now examining the possibility that Hamas sabotaged the balloons

Three observation balloons that are used by the Israel Defense Forces to monitor the Gaza border broke down in the past few weeks but were not replaced with alternative measures.
Mistakes were made just like mistakes were made and signs ignored during the September 11, 2001 terror attacks in NY.

IDF claims to find ‘list of Hamas names,’ but it’s the days of the week in Arabic

A video posted directly by Israel's Defence Forces claimed that under the Al-Rantisi Children's Hospital in Gaza, it had found Hamas weapons and technology, as well as a "list of terrorist names" in Arabic, showing each agents' rota guarding Israeli hostages. However, a translation of the document shows it has no names -- in fact the only text on it shows a calendar of the days of the week.

Breaks down the connection between post-modern leftist ideologies, specifically those inspired by Marxism, and Islamist ideology:

Everyone makes mistakes.

And that language, both written, and spoken,
is ugly.
