And then started waiting for them to run out with suicide vests. If you go back a few pages, there is an interview with one of the soldiers. I dont know how many other attacks have happened at the tents but according to the information, that attack was unsuccessful

I thought the same thing but I did some research and the whole point of making them strip is to make sure they dont have a suicide vest. But apparently what they do is when they encounter someone who wants to surrender, or force a surrender, they make them take out the mag, which only leaves the 1 bullet in the gun at most and strip in place. That way nobody has to get close for something to be detonated.

Once the dude is clear of explosives, they will make them walk with their weapon over their head with mag in one hand, gun in the other to make it super hard to pull some shit.

Most militaries have some sort of process like this but I guess the IDF is super vigilant because of the dozens and dozens of suicide vests they have found in Gaza and 100+ suicide bombings over the decades.

So it makes sense to me at least...

If Israel was just going to execute them, or detain them, no reason to film it and release it at all. Gullible is thinking that the IDF is not fighting anyone from HAMAS and nobody from HAMAS might actually want to surrender and live and not be drown in a tunnel, alone, starving, in the dark. But that is just me
