Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
One thing I have been amazed with this time around is how much support there has been for the Palestinian cause, even by non Muslims. The tide is definitely turning against the apartheid state, took them 2k years to take the country back, it will take a fraction of that time to reclaim it.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
No need to apologize to me. I just want say, leftists/democrats/liberals are not the root of all your/our problems in the United States or the rest of the world, for that matter. Problems everywhere stem from the fact that we are humans and make things far more complicated and messy than they have to be. Both democrats and republicans contribute to our problems and that is the name of the game. All of us have been indoctrinated into that game. The biggest goal in that game is to get people to take sides causing a powerful divide amongst us as a whole. It works well. But there are humans on both sides that do good and bad things. Nutjobs on both sides. Democrats are not directly responsible for Hamas (or terrorism). Republicans are not directly responsible for Hamas (or terrorism). If any responsibility lies with the government of the United States, it's the collective government. The Islamist vs. US thing has been going on for many years and both republican and democratic presidents have been in office when we've invaded their countries, made policies or done things to piss them off. Ultimately, there is only one cause for the radical Islamist movement at any given point in time in history. The number one cause of death ever... religion. When they do things to kill people, Americans specifically, they don't discriminate between democrats or republicans. They see us all equally as "infidels" against their version of religion and their way of life. So it is EVERYONE'S problem regardless of what side of the isle you're on or what our government says or does about it. Anyway, I don't mean to single you out about the political left/right stuff... you just happen to mention it in most of your posts. It also divides and disrupts in these threads, so it's best for the mods to discourage it. So... stop that.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
Kind of funny how people are saying Israel is an Apartheid state considering all religions and ethnic groups in Israel have equal rights and can vote in elections. Nearly 20% of the country are Muslims

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
"The IDF spokesman revealed to the international media - this is how the terrorist organization Hamas steals fuel from the hospitals in the Gaza Strip, at the expense of the humanitarian needs of the residents of Gaza The exposed conversation between the commander of the West Jabaliya battalion of Hamas and a Gazan, with the participation of the director of the Indonesian hospital, is further proof of Hamas's cynical use of humanitarian resources in the Gaza Strip. In addition, the conversation confirms that the terrorist organization Hamas controls the existing energy resources in the Gaza Strip and chooses to channel them for its operational needs at the expense of the needs of the civilian population."
