The tank number seems a bit high, likely due to conflating IFVs with tanks. This a common mistake, especially when the tanks & IFVs are built on the exact same chassis, as is the case with the IDF's equipment. The IDF's Namer IFV is literally just a modified Merkava hull with some of them being built from old Merkava Mk. 1 & 2 tanks that were pulled from service in the '90s. The rest of the IDF's IFV fleet consisting of repurposed Centurion & T-54/55 tanks .

Bombing children is not Israel defending itself, it's them doing what they've always wanted to do and just needed a reason to make it seem like a "just" act.

They're more than capable of taking down Hamas without such a tremendous death toll of women and children. All they're doing is ensuring their people will continue to have to look over shoulders because now millions more people will want revenge for all these innocent children killed.
