Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
How does it not make sense? Do you not know the difference between the rockets hamas fires vs aviation bombs? The difference is hundreds of pounds of high explosives. The crater shown in the aftermath video was tiny. It rules out any aviation bomb. It also didn't hit the hospital as claimed initially. Also, the video that shows the rocket being intercepted showed that the explosion took place mere seconds after the interception. This would suggest that the rocket was intercepted but its warhead didnt detonate during interception but fell to the ground instead. In any case, Israel has no reason to bomb a hospital. If they wanted to do that, they would bomb all the hospitals, schools and kindergartens in Gaza. Noone can stop them. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
Very interesting point he makes - that when many European Jews came back to the area in the 1920's, they were greeted as "European Colonialists" but the "Palestinians" who had largely come from Egypt to work for the British, they were seen as native locals. Also the first sentence of the HAMAS constitution: "Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it." Certainly does not make you look like you wouldn't outright murder your neighbor |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
Yeah, One thing i've learned over the years is that Islam has a special status in the west and we have double standards when it comes to anything that muslims do. It's sometimes so ridiculous that you get called an "islamophobe" when you say that beheading someone is wrong. Also, the statistics he showed about the minorities and Jews in Islamic countries disappearing is quite telling. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
"Finally some good news! The first truck with medicines entered Gaza through the Rafah checkpoint from Egyptian territory." ◼"The deployment of the Egyptian army on the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing." ◼"Thailand repatriated 28 of its citizens who were killed by Hamas during the 7 October operation" ◼"The Israeli Armed Forces demanded the evacuation of Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza. At the moment there are 400 wounded and 12 thousand refugees in the building. It is one of several hospitals still operating in the city. Since the beginning of the conflict, the Israelis have already destroyed more than 20 medical facilities. Due to the medical situation in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Red Crescent refused to evacuate the facility, considering it impossible and dangerous for the victims."

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
I have no idea if this info came before the above or vice versa. "Against the backdrop of reports about the passage of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, information appeared that two trucks that tried to be transported to the Strip through the Rafah border point were stopped by the Israeli side, which never issued permission to pass. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said that the checkpoint on their side was finally opened today, but Israel is preventing the passage of humanitarian aid. According to Hamas representatives, these 2 trucks with medicines were supposed to go to the Gaza Strip in exchange for two American women who were released as part of negotiations with the United States through Qatar. Earlier, Tel Aviv stated that they would not allow any humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip, whether the US and Egypt want it or not. It is still difficult to say what exactly happened."

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread II (2023)
Really wish y’all would stop calling them cope cages. Every military uses SLAT ARMOR. It’s incendiary and mocking. What are they coping with exactly? A desire for self preservation? I think y’all forget these “men” are boys and most of them would rather be sleeping in and playing video games or doing stupid things on 4 wheelers. This logic is inbred because technically the entire tank is the cope cage. Not saying you’re mocking people because you’re likely just parroting what willfully ignorant people are saying. But it’s called slat armor. |

Everything we see from Gaza is Hamas approved and they want us to see it. If the headline is "Israel strikes church" I don't believe it.
