Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
I believe it's just the "Iron Dome" air defense system. It looks just like the other examples of the ID system. Translation can jumble things up sometimes.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
This is the best thing I've seen all day! Die you pig fucker. These Palestinian cowards murdering families in their homes deserve every bit of pain, sorrow, and suffering coming their way. And what a dumbass too. Walking out in the wide open in plain view from every possible angle. Interesting though that he didn't say "Allah Akhbar" on his way out. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
The only one that I think is incorrect is the reference to Israel being attacked in the 1967 conflict, though that one is somewhat debatable. Nasser was posturing for invasion, and the UN had staged up in Sinai in a deterrence attempt. Nasser ordered the UN out of his territory and threatened to go through them. Many believe that was a bluff on his part but, either way, the UN did pull out. Then, with Nasser saber-rattling and the UN pulled back, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Nasser’s army. Israel fired the first shot, but only after their enemy told them they were at war. |
