Tanks, although heavy, have a massive footprint. Otherwise they would break roads. So the squishing isnt as extreme as one would imagine.

Tanks were a masterpiece of design used nearly 100 years ago in WW1 to drive toward trenches, immune to gun and shell fire from the enemy in the trenches, to drive over them and shoot into the trenches to kill armed enemies. And yet, 100 years later, the same thing that costs millions to build, is used to run over a tied up innocent being that appears to have already endured half his hair ripped from his scalp. What a bunch of cowardly and stupid idiots. |
