Been saying this for months; whats the point of having these weapons if you dont use them? I couldnt see Putin putting up with this could you? He has already threatened "total annihilation" of these terrorists if Russian lives are threatened/taken, and thats including the nuclear option for sure; when he says "total annihilation" that is what he means.
